every thing works exept the phone calls and i cant make or receive a call. the phone just freezes. is there anything u recommend i can do? great video.
i have installed android froyo 2.2 on my htc hd2 leo. when ever i boot up my phone it starts with windows mobile and i have to always launch clrcad.exe and haret.exe to start android. Is there any way that i can start my phone directly with android.
I just uploaded Android Gingerbread 2.3.4 onto my HD2. Works phenomenal! So relieved to have Windows out of my phone.. I was on the verge of getting rid of my phone when a coworker let me in on a secret! My HD2 absolutely rocks now.

I got teh Froyo 2.2 and it ran good only once...It worked good for a day than I lost signal and I did a restart and now Android does not want to boot. it just goes to the boot mode and has the hTc logo and it stays there. I'm trying to do the radio thing but I have no clue how to do it...can you walk me step by step...Rename the extracted file to "RUU_Signed.nbh" and flash with the CustomRUU...isn't helping at all, soo LOST!!!

this is what it used to happen with me what you need to do is that connect your phone with pc i know it wannt show that your phone is connected but just put your usb cable in phone and pc...
then go to htc website and try to find htc hd2 and go download latest version of windows then install android it will work dont need to worry....

Oh and the low call volume problem. I dont use key sounds so that fixes outgoing call issue, but incoming are still low. I just turn the speakerphone on and off 2 times and that takes care of it. Minor inconvenience.

Out of curiosity, hows your battery life? I was running Froyostone and have since moved to this build and I'm *thinking* it's eating battery more. But it could all be in my mind. This is a great ROM and the only things not working for me are wifi tethering, flashlight app (big whoop) and MMS. I've pulled my hair out trying to configure it, with no resolve. I don't really send pics all that often, so it doesnt matter too much to me. It would just be nice to get everything working.

the flashlight widget doesn't work, other than that works a treat.
In addition to what the post says, d/l and instal HSPL_3.
I chose a different NRG Rom, and tbh, that looked awesome, with many new features over and above Windows7. Good thing about this method is that you can switch back to the NRG ROM windows version at anytime, by removing and replacing the battery.
the HSPL allows you to reinstall the original ROM if all else fails.
I downgraded to 2.08, and the audio worked alright on my first phone call, but now it's doing the same robot noise again....what's going on?? Please reply>>

I'm running Darkstone/Froyo 2.2 on my HD2. It's perfect with one major exception: battery life. Phone runs hot in Froyo, lasting only about four hours. How is the battery life on the build you're running? In WinMo I get a day or even more, depending on use.
The last time I had an Android ROM run off my memory card, when I rebooted from installing an application from the Android Market place, and then trying to boot back into Android, it wouldn't let me boot, I found that retarded do you get that problem on yours if you load Android from the memory card and then install an Android application from the market and then restart your phone to boot back into Windows first and then try to load Android? Does it get stuck for you or no?
@moiz999999999, I have a different version of Android on my HD2 and it runs fast, but mine is the Desire HD build, I like it BUT now the MMS application stopped working so I'll have to put all those Android files in my memory card again just to get a fresh load of Android.
on my computer it does not say sd card....I just copy it straight with all the files....there is nothing on my phone that says sd card on my computer....neways...i duno why the internet doesnt work!!

my sound isn't working when i try to make calls and the wifi hotspot make the screen go white and the green led will keep blinking when its on the white screen everthing else worked find and its great!
@enoch861 I checked speeds and its showing in my area on T-Mobile HSPA speeds. T-Mobile says it wont do it, But when I showed the rep at my local store he was in shock. Good Luck.

@Mengsreanglay In theory, yes, because it's running a supported screen resolution and a supported processor. It would most likely use an HTC tattoo ROM, but if the hd2 is slow right now, the touch2 would be horrendous.
ChuckyDroid ROM is good because it's very minimal (doesn't use a lot of processing power or memory so Android is even faster) and at the moment I'm using Maesus Leo ROM with the latest radio, battery life is pretty good, running Mattc Froyo 2.2 + sense. Everything working.
@ThrashSpeedBurn THanks and how long does it take to use it for the first time because I ran it for 6 HOURS and eventually the battery died so it couldnt complete? They say the first time you use it it'll take a while but how long exactly is a "While"?
@ThrashSpeedBurn also it tells me that rootfs and initrd has to be unziped but when I unzip them into the folder then the boot loader wont start... I need help lol
@Cameraguy314 have you installed Hard SPL onto your HD2? that is a first and foremost, secondly, when I booted up Android for the first time it only took about 10 minutes, also, I'm not sure about your last question I'm afraid, the version of Android I used just extracted from a .rar into a folder called "Android" that I put in my [formatted] SD card, I hit CLRCAD and then HARET and everything was fine.

@thebreadbinman it can take around 10 mins max for first bootto create the image ontothe sd card , also , what country and provicer of hd2 u using ? and what winmo rom ?
i have the miri 6.5 v19 rom with mattc froyo with sense v 8 and everything works super smooth and almost perfect. the only complait i have is the battery and the kernal that came with the version isnt overclockable but i havent changed out the kernal to one that can be overclocked. i have a question tho because its realy pissing me off

H is HSPA+ (T-Mobile 4G)
I don't know if that phone actualy supports T-Mobile's 4G network.

@enoch861 I checked speeds and its showing in my area on T-Mobile HSPA speeds. T-Mobile says it wont do it, But when I showed the rep at my local store he was in shock. Good Luck.

@Mengsreanglay In theory, yes, because it's running a supported screen resolution and a supported processor. It would most likely use an HTC tattoo ROM, but if the hd2 is slow right now, the touch2 would be horrendous.

@Cameraguy314 no, there are plenty of other ROM's
ChuckyDroid ROM is good because it's very minimal (doesn't use a lot of processing power or memory so Android is even faster) and at the moment I'm using Maesus Leo ROM with the latest radio, battery life is pretty good, running Mattc Froyo 2.2 + sense. Everything working.

@ThrashSpeedBurn THanks and how long does it take to use it for the first time because I ran it for 6 HOURS and eventually the battery died so it couldnt complete? They say the first time you use it it'll take a while but how long exactly is a "While"?

@Cameraguy314 have you installed Hard SPL onto your HD2? that is a first and foremost, secondly, when I booted up Android for the first time it only took about 10 minutes, also, I'm not sure about your last question I'm afraid, the version of Android I used just extracted from a .rar into a folder called "Android" that I put in my [formatted] SD card, I hit CLRCAD and then HARET and everything was fine.

I like your video, excelent job. I have loaded another version of android and got it working, BUT, I have unuseable sound quality on calls. Im not a computer wiz by no means but I need to load something that will run android on my HTC HD soon. I have envaluable tools on android for my business. I am a t-mobile user. @skeelo: dude i got just one problem. after installing androd 2.2 w/scene. my camera now is just 3m camcorder hd 720p dont work niether. actually my htc hd2 running on 2.06.832.1 rom. if i change my rom, do you think my camera will works again w/ 5mp? and hd camcorder to?

I have 16 GB SD card (scan disk) and after I formatted (with card reader on windows XP) the card to FAT32, I run android successfully.
After reboot I started WM (Energy ROM) and when I try to run android again it stuck on boot screen (white screen with HTC in green).
I need to reformat the card again, copy the android folder again and then to run android again.
Is there a possibility to switch between Android & WM without formatting the card every time?

i have the miri 6.5 v19 rom with mattc froyo with sense v 8 and everything works super smooth and almost perfect. the only complait i have is the battery and the kernal that came with the version isnt overclockable but i havent changed out the kernal to one that can be overclocked. i have a question tho because its realy pissing me off
how can i install the jmz dualboot app so i dont have to press clrcad and haret if you know how i would love to hear how.

dude can you do me and all the other modder noobs on youtube a BIG favor and show us EXACTLY how to do this in a step-by-step? I'm a visual kinda guy and I hate reading instructions. =/ it would be a HUGE help to all of us. I'm reading all of this crap about "Flashing" and "ROMS" and I have NO CLUE what I'm doing.
