Next to Kaz,Pound for pound marious is the strongest strongman I would say ever ( in that sport). You guys forget he gives up, what 60 to 80 pounds against the big z? I know there are no weight classes but it's funny that no one brings that up. Big z is the man though for static strength, he's awesome.

@khazal12 yeah ofc its mixed. i mean you should need all of thoose to be the "worlds strongest man". but really there is no way of "measuring" who is "strongest".. Theese guys can do stuff like this but they still cant lift anywhere near certain weightlifters and bodybuilders in certain exercises. And they can not hit with the force of a fotball player or bodybuilder.. so yea.. But mariusz is recognized as the worlds best STRONGMAN. peace

The real problem at many competitors was that they didn't grip the weight exactly in the middle which means they lost the balance so the weight tiped over that they lost strenght and couldn't walk with.

You must be sure you're strong enough and having enough technique/knowledge not to get badly injured in a contest, then check out if there is a strongman federation in your country, and ask them. If there's not, try to participate in a competition in a border country. Where do you live?
