על מנת להיכנס לאיסלאם להתאסלם, אין טקסים דתיים ספציפיים או צעדים מיוחדים שצריך לבצע, לא בתחומים ספציפיים ולא מול אנשים ספציפיים. זאת בשל העובדה כי האיסלאם הוא קשר ישיר בין העבד והאדון שלו ללא מתווכים. כמו כן, אחד לא צריך להפעיל מאמצים גדולים (הוא רק צריך להשמיע כמה מילים אשר קלים על הלשון אבל כבדי משמעות.) אחד שהחליט להפוך למוסלמי אומר את הדברים הבאים ("אני להעיד כי אין אלוהות אמת מלבד אללה, ואני מעיד שמוחמד הוא העבד שלו ושליחו").
why were the Israeli ads offensive? All they said was that Israelis living outside of Israel are cutting themselves off from their homeland, which is true... They didn't say that "just Israelis" are the real Jews. If someone intellligent can please explain this to me, I'd be more than happy to hear your point of view. Racquel
@racquel127 These ads showed how it is virtually impossible for an Israeli couple to raise a child in America and keep her connected to Judaism. I suppose that's because the United States has no synagogues and no Jewish schools. The point of the ad is that the little girl will not be connected to Judaism if she lives in any spot on this planet that's outside the geographic area of Israel. I'm happy to say that most Israelis know this ad is a piece of stupid propaganda. Good for them.
The Jewish community in the USA found the ORIGINAL series of ads (the ones broadcast by the Israeli government that this makes fun of) to be offensive because they strongly implied that if you don't live in Israel, you aren't a good Jew and your children won't know what it is to be Jewish. The Traditions and language of the Jewish people are alive and well here in America. The ads were wrong and this parody of them is right to point that out.
