@gsh73la i know your comment was from a long time ago but you sir are completely wrong! this whole movie was filmed like normal movie, and then frame by frame, animated by hand by different animators.
I remember when i was a bit younger, I was flipping channels at my friends house and caught the scene with the 4 men walking and talking about tearing down society. we turned it and about a year later a buddy loaned me the dvd, changed my life.
