@djeverest123Edison did not invent the first electric light bulb, but instead invented the first commercially practical incandescent light. (wikipedia) it was a Canadian who invented the light bulb and then sold the patent to Edison who then did some adjustment but nevertheless it was a Canadian. and yes Graham was the real inventor BUT when he patented it in 1876 he was living in Canada, still as a British Subject. So Its is usually known as a Canadian invention because he lived in Canada.
