  • It isnt a store bought kit. It is al custom. Everything in that video costed me around 2,500 My current setup in which I am putting down 400WHP costed me 10,000...

  • wow..10g's on a turbo for the tc...is it really worth it...i have a tc also but not sure if i would do 10g for a turbo

  • @06tCmF you dont need to. my mechanic which is an expert on scion is charging me 3k with custom turbo, tune, dyno everything for 3k and im gna get around 250-280whp running at in 5-8 psi i believe. he wasted 10g on his scion but hes making 540whp on 19 psi with his turbo but he isnt running on stock internals though

  • No T3/T4. The T3 sux ass doesnt create enough power.

  • umm.. t3 is a larger ball bearing turbo... its power potential is much higher on a car that can blow enough air than a t3/t4...

    but you're right in a sense... the tC doesn't blow enough air, so the t3 would cause lag and a lack of power compared to the smaller t3/t4.

  • You have it backwards. The T3 is smaller and the T4 is bigger. The power potential of a T3 is significantly lower than a T4. Thats the reason for a T3 (exhaust side) T4 (compressor side) hybrid turbo. Also My turbo is not ball bering it is a jurnal bearing. Bal bearing turbos are that much better and cost so much more.

  • The T3 exhaust side is used to spool the T4 (larger) compressor housing as if it was a T3. No offense but read up on turbos b4 you throw out claims like this it will con fuse people.

  • That's an impressive tune on the tC but an 03/04 would still destroy this. They're rated at 390 but most put out 420 at the flywheel stock. Heavy or not, a cobra would still beat this.

    Also, V8's have a more consistent powerband than a turboed 4 cylinder. Nevermind a supercharged V8 which also maintains the consistent powerband.

    Oh yeah and you can easily mod a cobra to 600hp with the amount of money you've put into the tc.

  • Oh really at the time this video was takeing there was only 3 grand in to it HMMM i dought it buddy. Since I have friends that have mustangs and they are costly to mod. You also Know nothing about the high RPM power band of a 4 cyl you think they suck hahaha. Dude you know nothing about turboed cars do you? Sloperchargers are a thing of the past turbos create more Hp at the same PSI level hmmm which is better Gee I dont know. HAHAHA

  • ya know its pretty fucked up when ppl talk shit about this tc, i was in the passenger seat when Mr. Steve in his T-tc walked the dog on my brother in laws slightly modded mustang GT, you call it slow but i promise when you roll up on it, you can race it, but when you loose think twice when you pull up to a turbo 4cyl...

  • I drive a tc also, but itt sounds like you think your the shit with your Tc, you need to realize it is a 4 cyl turbod and people will have better American cars than you do.

  • I think you need to double check that tuning, it seems to be cutting out a little bit. Nice turbo spool for 3rd gear though.

  • It is all god he cleaned it up. The injectors are still to small. I got a pump and injectors on the way so 300 WHP will be here soon enough.

  • Yea it is a T3/T4 .60 Trim Turbo. Pushin 10 PSI with 270WHP and 260 Tq. I have a unichip tuneing it with RC 440cc injectors (which are to small for what i want to do) HKS SSQ BOV. Clutch masters stage 2 clutch with a fidanza light weight fly wheel. Turbo XS boost controller. Cutcom every thing else the manufold and the intercooler pipeing.
