Don't worry about the haters! You guys are awesome! Internet and telephone doesn't make life that much easier in the bush! The computer can't gather and chop firewood for you, fish or hunt for the food you need to survive. It just helps to put out an awesome videos like this one. Keep doing what you're doing, we love the videos!

@HoneymoonCampers Thanks it is nice to know that people understand that even with modern conveniences life is not easy out here and we are doing vidoes to show people how to live modern in the wilderness!!! If you want to live simply that is fine too, but we like internet and having electricity from generators and solar pannels to run our freezeer so we can freeze our deer meat and run some electronics!

Just cause you live in alaska, and might live in the woods doesnt mean youre an adventurer, or out on the edge living in the wilderness. YOU HAVE SATELLITE. Calling this wilderness living is an insult to those who do. The way you live is not hard, Its the 21st century,

but what you are doing is pretending.

We have to haul fuel and run a generator if we want to have a light bulb. So how hard do you have it do you live without city water and power?

1/2 inch of plywood between you and Alaskan winter. What do the locals think of this? Can't say I'd take chances with high winds, heavy snow, and moisture rotting away your protection. But good luck with it, at least you're living your dream.

Thanks for this video I really enjoyed watching. I myself was wondering what I can do to get phone service out in the rural area and never occurred to me Hughes net would work for voyage. and to FroggEnigma yeah that is wilderness living with some things that make life better what would you complain that they use a cabin/house compared to living in a cave? Or how about ditch there clothes for rough deer skin leathers? c'mon frogg :)

@carlosastar001 you go live with candels and notheing but books and see how much fun yiou have. WE LOVE our conveniences in the middle of the wilderness 60 miles from the nearest town or PEOPLE. We love our life and love the internet and like to have fun with boats and airplanes. Plenty of lodge owners in Alaska live the same way so go write them with your concerns as they are raping the wilderness with all of their clients!! We are just 2 people making videos
