@cyclopse50 riding in the snow is like riding on a sheet of ice basically. I think way more aggressive straight up dirt tires with metal studs would do A LOT better. and a lower weight (concerning the bike)
I rode my Harley in snow all the time to and from work, some of them in snow storms at 2 a.m. in the morning coming home from work. Scary stuff with summer tires. Glad u enjoyed it. Be safe.
I am glad I decided to bail on you guys. It was snowing here at my house in the morning and 32 degrees. I think it would have made for a rough day for me.
@Z07freak Not so far, visible from some parts of town, east and a little north. That's the great thing about AZ, wide variety of climate. Hiked to the summit of the northern two peaks, what was it pushing 40 years ago. At our camp, as we sat around the fire, one of my HS buddies improvised mellowly on the kalimba and deer wandered right next to us, listening. If ever a mountain was instantly recognizable from its name, the Four Peaks must be it. Very beautiful.
Good to see you guys aren't afraid of a little snow and cold.
