  • hey i tried installing the pixel bender plugin and all is well but when i edit my image i can see nothing when i try to load the pixel bender plugin... any workaround on this one? thanks in advance....

  • @parrapro Man, Pixel Bender is a free plugin. All u need to do is to go to Adobe's website, download and install. It's free.

  • @joemobumtwizzler ive had that to... with my destkop pretty good graphic card GTX275 and 4 GB Ram but i croped the image and it worked... maybe it helps?

  • i have now tried 55 times to install pixelbender plugin( in windows 7) trial version of CS5..EVEN USING THE CS5 EXTENSION MANAGER it never installs in the filters!!!AAARRRGGGGH

  • Sorry but, may be you can help me. I really do not find the pixel bender option in my Ps/CS5, so don't really know if it comes with the CS5 or if you installed an additional filter/plug-in. Please let me know, thanks :-)

    About the video it is just awesome how any picture can be transformed in a great paiting. My wife says painters will end ha ha ha ha..... obviouslly not the true good ones :-D

  • hi gavin great effects what you can do to photos any thing i dont like about this in photoshop is when u take a bigger size photo in to it if only adobe would make the size more it would be really good and not to have it limited to one size

    Is there a Pixel Bender for CS4? Searched, but nothing came up.. every hit seems to be for CS5.

  • IM FEELING VERY DISAPPOINTED...CANT AFFORD CS5 and i dont think the pixel bender will do me any good with CS3... i know how to do clouds but have been trying for a long time for the 'OIL PAINT' effect:(

  • Gavin. I would love to see some tutorials on the new "content aware fill" and the "puppet" tool. There is hardly any on youtube, and the ones that are on here are muffled and hard to follow. You explain everything clearly and with explanations on why and how.

  • Where do you get the Pixel Bender plugin? I Googled it but the Pixel Bender they showed look like a programing language and not a simple plugin filter.

  • @MrSStech Use a Grey grad filter or take two exposures and join in Photoshop. I do have a video on YouTube showing how it's done.
