  • I can't say anything more. than whats been said about early judas priest.this is one of my favorite solos too bad its really low in the mix

  • Next to "Sad Wings of Destiny" "Stained Class" is my favourite JUDAS PRIEST album, and this is a great song!

  • ive NEVER heard a better band live. this is a poor example/

  • Awesome! I didn't think this was ever performed live!

  • What's w/ the ugly stage costumes Rob wore before the "leather" phase?

  • @HarryPotter87 That's what every rock band wore in the 70s.

  • thats a pretty damn good recording bro...thanks

  • i will agree that priest were untouchable between 78-83, although their best studio work may be their earlier albums.

  • ..where can I get this cd??

  • WTF is Rob wearing?! Don't tell me he's copyin' off Gary "Pedo" Glitter! *shakes head*

  • He's the savage, pacman, he's the savage pacmaaaaaan.

  • jedi costumes. beast

  • I saw this tour at Bristol Colston Hall. Do I feel old or what lol. It was the last tour that Rob dressed in the hippy gear.

  • thanks for sharing this. you got some good ole pics of the band too! Rob is still as great as ever!

  • Some rare pix of the band.

  • thank you tom! this is epic

  • Very nice. Stained is one of my favorite

  • Best Priest era 76-79

  • @yak45900 yes, priest was at their peak in these 3 albums, too bad that the guitar tone and the drums were so thin. With "modern" production those albums would sound incredibly heavy.

  • @yak45900 Cant agree with you there sorry..best Priest era was between 1978-1984....in 1982 they were Massive..and the Live Vengeance DVD proves that very well indeed!! \m/.

  • @Mozzofull1 I think their 70's albums much better but you make a good point, as live performers they were probably at their peak in the early 80's....great hearing those late 70s track live though.

  • @yak45900 Dont get me wrong..i enjoy listening to those early priest tracks..sin after sin was an absolute cracking album..The sinner being one of my favs..but also many others from that same album are enjoyable to listen to!..I also like the even earlier stuff they did..RockaRolla and sad wings of destiny albums...i get a huge buzz listening to them too!!..I dont think there isnt a bad Priest album..but thanks for the reply..

  • @yak45900

    correct; the Les Binks era!!

  • Man, he nailed the scream! Never thought I'd hear this live. Oh man..... what a way to start da weekend!

  • in 1996 i had the great honor of meeting The Metal God,a dream come true. He signed a white vinyl album JP album i have, and it will forever be my most prized pocession. He was the guest DJ at KCAL 96.7, in Redlands,Ca. on a Sat.night,so i grabbed my album and jumped in my truck and made a 20 minute drive to the station and waited for him to appear outside. he was wearing a"hot wheels" shirt and a Pheonix Suns baseball cap. i kick myself in the ass b/c i forgot to bring lyricsi wrote 2 give him.

  • @pretzeldog67 congrats bro.

  • @pretzeldog67 was it in 1996 Rob was working with his Two album? working with the Nine inch nails man??

very weird..so weird infact i bought the two album..listened to it once and taken it back to where i bought from and got my money back!! fortunatley 4years later..Rob Halford returned to his roots..Heavy Metal!!!! and what a storming Album Insurrection was..it still rocks my world to this day!! \m/

  • @pretzeldog67 Did he ask you out on a date and give you his phone number? :D

  • @HarryPotter87 fuck you asshole!

  • @pretzeldog67 SORRY!!! I thought you were also a chick, like me!

  • Whos the savage?.... Modern Man !....Whos the Savage?.... Modern Man

MMTom thanx bro this is raw Priest.

i still say it Stained Class is the Best Priest Release.True to there roots Judas didnt hold anything back when in the studio here

  • they got alot simplier especially on the next three albums. this is true priest.

  • Never heard this one live either.. Yet another great underplayed song. Maybe they can break out more of these classics on an upcoming tour.

I'd love to hear Saints in Hell live!

  • I don't think rob can do the intro anymore.

The guys getting old, i understand him.

  • He can still do quite a bit with his voice. it'd probably sound a bit different if he did it now, though. A lot more rasp, and a pause in between.

  • MMT you made my New Year. Been a priest fan since I was 7. I've never heard these rare gems played live!!!!!!!!

    Kick Ass!!!!!!

  • wow. shame no vid.

  • WOW!!!

Scream more my Metal God !

    All Hail!

  • Great to hear live! This will energize me for another year!

  • WOW!!!!!! Thanks for posting this. Never heard a live version of this killer " Stained Class " tune.
