  • love the intake

  • What kind of rims do you have on there? They look really good!!

  • I've seen this camaro on ls1tech.com It's the only one with the american flag intake manifold I've seen. Nice car

  • Just for patriotism, I would buy an intake manifold from you painted just like that. You could start a custom intake manifold business for LS engines. ;) Just somethin to think about!

  • thats is one fucking clean ass intake bad ass bro...

  • Thanks for the nice responses. The car (and I) have been living in Germany since the spring. BTW, yes the AutoBahn is grand (though most places DO have a speed limit....contrary to popular myth). I've had it to 170MPH once in a "speed unrestricted" zone. Scared the crap outta myself at that speed. Stupid fast for the interstate  Also sucked down a 1/4 tank of gas in that one blast.....

  • man that a nice camaro , u r good in taking care of it man xD

  • LOL.....love the intake!

  • wow props on the intake dude

  • I just bought an 02 Camaro SS, its sitting in my backyard right now with the engine pulled. I have a Texas Speed MS4 cam ready to go in. Its already got forged internals and Patriot stage 3 heads. I plan on running an STS system somewhere down the road. nice car man!

  • Awesome intake who did it!?

  • Thanks. I painted it myself with rattle-can engine enamel from the local Autozone.

  • @SchantinP so you just taped the design off and did it? obviously multiple times, but thats basically it?

  • it doesnt sound like a 111 lsa at all....i figured it would be alot more lopey..sounds more like a 114 do you have any more specs on the cam probbly the best sounding setup i have herd..im not sure if i wasnt the tsp 228r cam now..lol

  • Yep, it's definetly a 111LSA. I have the idle set at 1000RPM. That smooths the lope out a bit. The real bark comes from the exhaust. I'm running DynaTech LT's (ceramic coated ) through a GMMG chambered exhaust w/ Pro-flow stainless cat converters (to reduce rasp),

    BTW, thanks for the comments.

  • was that 12's on street tires?

  • Yes, it runs 12.7's on street tires with a 1.89 60' time. Currently have Sumitomo HTR ZIII's. Ran around the same on Mickey Thompson ET Streets. W/ drag raials it bogged at 4.5K launches, but was messing with the 1-2 synchro on the trans with higher launches. Traction is due in large part to the suspension. I have a Moser 9" w/ relocated UMI LCA's, UMI panhard, and adjustable torque arm.

  • Wow that's patriotic... Nice car dude

  • Thanks.

  • where did you get your white face gauges?

  • E-bay.

  • any dyno #'s?

  • Never dyno-tuned it... I did WOT tuning at the track. It ran low 12's@114mph. Camaros with the same H/C setup have dynoed 400RWHP at Va Speed.(where I got the heads ported + the cam)

  • how much of a difference does that K&N intake system work over the other covered ones??im thinking of getting that one instead of the SLP system.seems like it would flow alot better.

  • It doesn't make any noticable difference vs a lid. I had a STS turbo on the car before and had ditched the stock radiator shroud/ lower lid assembly when I had that setup. When I converted back to N/A, the K&N was the cheapest system to run, since it comes with it's own radiator shroud..

  • how are emissions in VA?

  • Don't have emissions testing where I live.
