  • How did this start? Im one of those people who always worry about my house catching fire (also had 3 dreams of my house on fire last night and im on edge all day because of it) You could say i obsesse over this type of thing happening since this happens a lot in my area. Right now there are 7 or 8 burned out houses within a few blocks of where i live that happend in the last 3 months.

  • @TheWaynelds I honestly do not know how the fire started, and as for worrying about your house burning..... I worry about it often because my house was built in 1927 and it's old wood, but obsessing over it is not healthy. I am a big believer in if it is going to happen we really have little control over it. And please don't watch any of my other videos, if a house on fire video bothers you, this one is quite mild in comparison.....

  • @mabas21 No these videos dont scare me that bad. I've witnessed house fires up close a few times already. I'm just on edge as i said because i had 3 dreams in a row last night of this happening to me and the last time i had 3 of the same dreams in a night, the event actually happend.

But in the dreams, there wasnt really any damage done to my house, which according to a friend who's into dream interpreting, is probably a sign that i make things seem worse than they actually are.. haha

  • tht was down the block from my house i was at my friends house who live across the street wen it happened the ppl who live there went to my school

  • i know whos house that is. i live in highland, and two of the residents go to my school

  • is this your house?

  • No, none of the fires I post are my house

  • eat a pickle

  • These video's are some of the best training we have in the fire service!!! Excellent job Ed!!!!! I think this department could have been a little more agressive

  • Thanks for the comment, I can't really respond to aggressiveness. I really have no idea what the interior conditions were, sounded like the floors were burned through. Stay safe out there

  • Do you hear me laughing or enjoying myself??? Did I focus my attention to the homeowners? I am there for the Fire Department, I make training videos and every so often I submit my material to the news. I do not take joy in the fact someone just lost their belongings and house.

  • I don't comment on these video's much, but I have to ask WTF? as usual Ed nice job on the video though. as for the fire itself thank GOD everyone got out ok.

  • I just shoot em, lol. I agree, it was graet to hear about the grandaughter being a little hero. Thanks for the comment, stay safe out there

  • i got a couple questions. im shooting to be a firefighter but im only 16 right now. What are some of the qualifications to being one?

  • Stop by the nearest firehouse and they will gladly fill you in on how to become a Fireman, some Volunteer departments have Cadet programs 16 you could join, to be a career Fireman in IND you must be 21.

  • do u have to go to college? and what if your afraid of heights

  • Please don't ask this department that

  • This is my brother's home. He is in the video at 3:00 wearing no shoes, slacks and a T shirt. They were saved when his 8year old grandaughter, who was sleeping in the basement, heard the UPSTAIRS smoke detector and found her way in the smoke to awaken my brother who was asleep in his room. They were the only ones home at the time. They did lose the family dog in this fire. I believe she (the dog) hid under the bed and couldn't be found until it was too late.

  • It is very sad they lost their house and the family pet, but on the same hand it is awesome to hear about the grandaughter, she is a little hero. I hope everything works out for them, they are in our thoughts and prayers

  • @kennyjag how did the fire start?

  • we should of turned this one in...i think it would of made it on Ed

  • good video...was there much of an interior attack? seems like alot of sheppards at times.

  • From what I could understand via the radio traffic the conditions on he first floor were terrible. I could be wrong, but it sounded like the fire burned through the floor.

  • very good job! nice video

  • that is highland house fire with assistance from Griffith FD. not Munster.

  • I do apologize, I hate when I do that. Thank you for the correction

  • Shot at 0:16 is AWESOME!
