I take my moms ford edge off-roading all the time. Unfortunately it's only 2WD but, it does the job. The ford edge makes off-road driving easy because of its nice wide and tall tires.
@brenoribeiro2007 The important difference is that an AWD car like the Edge doesn't have a 4WD low range, so it's not really meant for off road use in the way that a 4x4 is. When I request a rental that is a 4x4, it is because I need it for off road use for the type of work I do. I had to get that Ford Edge that I rented yanked out of a mud hole with a Caterpillar D9 bulldozer. Not really a good situation, considering that the Edge doesn't have tow hooks or recovery points.
Finally someone has the balls to really drive one of these! Oh and for all you ppl gettin mad about the music, shut the fuck up about it. Its not that big of a deal. Im sure millions of ppl dont like the same shit you do either.

i got a ford edge best car in the world i swear its fast good looking and great for messing around in and i've put a ford edge through alot lol....i've had people race me can't keep up people trying to follow me can't keep up lol.....amazing for drifting in the snow/mud too but better in the snow even in FWD one lol traction control on hit good speed like 40mph or more quickly turn traction off tap the E-brake turn either way let E-brake go and give it gas and have fun with the slide lmao

I just don't feel I need any other car, speed, check, power, check, looks (in & out), check, utility and practicality, check. Now this video confirms its potential. i'll take it off road, but while I won't do what GliderFreak's done, it's so good to know it can do that.

Also can't stand someone elses idea of music. And turning off the volume leaves you nothing. I also like hearing the engine and the sound of dirt kicking up.
Me too! I have to get a little video cam to shoot some clips like that. I love doing that in my EDGE. Just make sure to not rip off your front bumper like I have, or crack your rim doing donuts on a snowy parking lot. LOL

I requested a 4x4 rental from Budget. When I arrived at the counter at the airport, they gave me keys to a Ford Edge. Fail.
