Just got couple of questions for you, does the Bumper comes off easily? and is the part near the Home button (down) as fragile as other cases? (Griffin reveal for an example, it looks like its almost rippin' off when you take it out of the pocket). Thanks!

@Fardoreza the bumper does come off easily after a few times putting it on and removing it. Secondly, the construction all-around is solid --reinforced in the center if you can see the video closely (in HD). It shouldn't rip at all because the lip stays pointed inward to the phone's surface. My primary complaint about this case is only new Apple-made or thin iPod/iPhone connectors seem to fit in the dock area on the bottom.

@Fardoreza fit is solid. the stiff center area of the bumper stays super white even until now. the whole bumper is quite stain resistant unless you're the sort that drags it in the dirt. I've kept it in my pocket, placed it on desks and back... still seems clean.

If you purchased the IP4 before the 30th of September, you download an app that, when registered to, sends you the bumber for free. If, however, you purchased an IP4 after that time, you have to pay the ridiculas price of $30.

@NearL89 the bright white area is solid and is very resistant to scratches and stains. the off-white areas on the top and bottom are more like rubber and can get dinged with marks, though it's quite resilient

Just to clear it up: The decrease in reception applies to ALL iPhones 4, but it's not a big deal if you start with 5 bars and end up with 2 or 3.

This is a good review, but i mean i dont think that the bumper would fix the reception problem, i think it would make it worse because even if you hold the iphone4 the wrong way it loses all bars of reception, am i right?

@Hng027 Holding it the wrong way isn't the cause, Steve Jobs assumed it was. Eventually, the main cause was that people were holding it right, but their hands are blocking the two black separators on the sides, which is causing dropped calls and bad reception. Somehow, in a way, the bumper fixes it, I am not sure how, but I'm pretty sure it IS built EXACTLY right for the iPhone to not cause problems. Yes the bumper fixes it, I've tried it, and I got my bars back up.

@Hng027 Actually you are wrong, the issue comes from bridging the gap, your finger conducts electricity from one end of the gap to the other THATS the issue. Through the case you cant conduct the electricty from one end to the other so the case fixes it

@MadDogMeh Yeah all the Bumper cases are free now, and some other third party cases not sure which ones, that's because if a known issue on the iPhone 4 that when you hold it on a certain way your signal bars drop down, but these cases prevent that, so Apple gives you a Bumper case for free when you purchase your iPhone 4 and if you've already bought one you can get a full refund

@airfit97 Yeah the bumper helps with protection and looks quite slick. Is it the best case? No... there's a huge tradeoff between armor and looks in this case. I wouldn't dare drop the iPhone 4 from more than two feet with the Bumper. If you want to prevent damage you might want to look for something more bulky. However, I try to take really good care of my electronic equipment so the Bumper suits the way I handle my stuff :)
