i can't say if it is worth the money for you, but I like it. There is another version my brother has that has more control over the distortion, but costs more too.
@jackynjimy i know this is old.. but... there should be a cord INSIDE the 9ignoe.. that you can jack into a wall... my uncle has one.. if you look on the back of it there is a hole for outllet
I got a pignose 7-100 portable amplifier recently and notice the cuts or tears in the brown leather covering on both the bottom and top of the amp.Did yours have these cuts on it also?Customer service at pignose says they all do.I am not so sure.
No, mine does not have cuts or tears in it. The seams are not 100% tight on the underside though; but only very slightly off. You should return it from where you purchased it and have them replace it.

do u know if this pickup works on other more traditional shaped ukes? i want to amplify my baritone uke and this seems like a good pickup

Sure it will. it works well to. I usually use it with a regular amp and it's clear. You can mount it inside to I think.
