  • It always comes back to arguing from ignorance. They don't know, so it must be god. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised; ignorance is all they have.

  • How contemptible... using modern science in order to demonstrate the validity of a 4000 year old book that talks about seven-headed dragons, Hebrew-talking snakes, walking zombies, unicorns, evil pigs, etc.

Throw away the irrational fears of hell - where people are eternally tortured for questioning god's infinite love - and you'll truly see the sheer magnitude of nonsense and ignorance which every religion depends upon.

  • D'Souza is an incredibly dishonest debate partner.

  • Dinesh just has one of those faces you wanna punch...and that's BEFORE he opens his mouth!

  • The salem witch trials only killed 18. Yes. How admirable.

  • @prestonscott73 Yeah no kidding, I was thinking that people actually got hurt! But damn, only 18 people dead. That clearly is nothing. /s

  • @prestonscott73

Versus the hundreds of millions killed by atheists? Yeah, give me the Salem Witch Trials anyday.

  • @Sniper2008009 no, no, not millions, its billions- Billions killed by atheists- probably like 7 or 8 or maybe 56 Billion- you must have your facts straight- although many of the Chinese under Mao may have been closet agnostics and not true atheists- its really hard to tell.

Give you the Salem witch trials ANYday? Well my kids have soccer practice Tuesdays and Fridays- is Thursday OK?

  • @prestonscott73

I'm sorry, I'm not available at that time. I'm in the gulags and my family is being killed while I'm being indoctrinated that all religion is bad and evil. Can you schedule an appointment in some other time?

And billions being killed? Praise the great leader Mao! May those religious fiends die a fiery death!

  • Err.

Is not that the Universe follows the laws in our minds. Is our minds that is constantly trying to make sense of the Universe. That's the begining of the Delussion.

  • This article gives an overview about religion in Nazi Germany and the Nazis' complex and shifting policy towards religion. "The German census of May 1939 indicates that 54 percent of Germans considered themselves Protestant and 40 percent considered themselves Catholic, with only 3.5 percent claiming to be neo-pagan "believers in God," and 1.5 percent unbelievers. This census came more than six years into the Hitler era"[1]

  • Maybe a better question to debate would be 'What could we live without more: Faith or Technology?' If we lost %100 faith - there would be a humanity that would survive, I would argue, for the better. But what about technology? If we had EVERYTHING erased overnight WE had designed, ploughs to iphones, life for HUMANS would cease within years. Animals would continue in an island evolution - same as the %99.9999999999 of the time before 'gods children' were around. Design? Faith starts with F.A.

  • d'souza is such a douche

    translation: I have no imagination...I'm a big fucking dumbass. <--- D'Souza

Hitler is either an atheist or a gnostic depending on who they are slandering.

  • d'souza is such a douche

    translation: I have no imagination...I'm a big fucking dumbass. <--- D'Souza

  • d'souza is such a douche

  • If you think either of these debaters are stupid or making bad arguments, then you are the ignorant one and the you are too stupid and/or uneducated to know how to weigh and judge formal debates. Good grief.

  • Dinesh is a nice guy... I don't want to say anything else. That counts. It is enough for me. Even if he is wrong, he is a nice and good person. Well, I know he is wrong, I am Hitch fan for long time now, but for some of his debaters i have respect, Dinesh is one of them...

  • @49fiori thanks for restoring my faith in the humanity of atheists. hopefully it will rub off on some of your peers.

  • Christianity is absolutely eviscerated in this clip.

  • Isn't it funny how people will give up their ability to be rational and logical for dividends they think they will collect in the form of an afterlife? The only reason, or at least the main reason, that people believe is because of something promised to them in return. If Jesus claimed to be the son of God, preached wonderful practices of morality, and was an overall inspiring person but said that there is no afterlife, Christianity would have died out a long time ago.

  • Some say how dare he speak of scientific laws with his English degree ,? Haha what about you ? Show me your great degree that approves you to talk about scientific laws? Haha so illogic to say we need a degree to give out opinions or facts then we also need one to give our opinion . I though atheists were all brilliant and super smart haha

  • @blopajmbar62 How are we to regard opinions/observations so carelessly expressed? Should I attribute your typos to your irrational state of mind? Clue: you don't need an English degree to proofread.

Hitchens doesn't have a degree in science, but people don't criticize him for that because he displays a genuine concern for fact-based inquiries that don't rely on scewed metaphysics and liguistic fallacies. Knowledge isn't degree-reliant.

  • @Ematched i didnt say that about hitchens.... someone in this video said that D'Souza couldn't talk about science b.c he was an english teacher. So i said ...wait so we can't give rational opinions just b.c we don't have certain degree? well hitchens doesn't have one either soo.....

  • First of all, how dare he speak like he knows anything about scientific law with his English degree.

The laws we know are our observation of nature and how we can define them. We have obeyed nature in observing them, not we who created the idea they follow.

Matter obeys nothing. Obedience implies there is a choice to be made, and there clearly is not.

Arguments from ignorance, drooled from the mouth of theist -- a day no one was surprised.

  • why are atheists so boring and stupid? no matter how 'educated' you are, only God can give you wisdom.

  • @milleniumgirl1000 why are south koreans so boring and stupid? no matter how 'educated' you are, only Kim Il-sung can give you wisdom...

  • @Reerrpad5515 Sweet pwnage. nicccce,......High Five!!!

  • "the universe obeys laws"

    Not...quite.

  • Isn't it a sin to be so utterly stupid as D'Souza is?

  • @atheistfromaustria Yes! Thankfully, though, it is NOT a sin to be so stupid as Hitchens'. Very conveniently, God Marx isn't here to punish him for that.

  • Isn't it a sin to be so utterly stupid as D'Souza is?

  • Dinesh is a true warrior! Belief is indigent in Science (Popper) and also in spiritual things - God... It is true, we know only something about the matter (cca 5% in the universe - dark matter and energy = 95% - we know nothing now), so what do we know about spiritual possibilities? Pascal:"You must wager; it is not optional...Let us weigh the gain and the loss in wagering that God exists If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing. Wager, then, without hesitation, that He exists."

  • @ledvonj this is not real belief, this is hedge betting, i'd rather be honest. i am incapable of believing the claims of religion

  • I have trouble believing that D'Souza is even serious with this stuff!

  • @cvarga LOL I have trouble believing any of the theists are serious about any of this stuff.

  • Actually, Dinesh got it backwards---rationality embodies/mirrors the universe. The relation works the other way.

  • @MetaMorphy quit grasping for straws, sore loser.

  • It;s amazing that the glue that holds the human body together is luminis in the shape of a cross.

  • Comment removed

  • I always watch these debates with the hope that D'Souza's grown a brain.

    I always end up dissapointed.

  • @RinngoStarkey I also used to check up the comments (like yours) with the same purpose. But I gave up long before you.

  • @RinngoStarkey I always look for these comments to dispute Dinesh's comments and yet they never do but only mock and make fun of him. I can't take you seriously or your juvenile comments.

  • @RinngoStarkey Amazing how the mind works, I was thinking the exact same thing!!! I thank god for atheism

  • @RinngoStarkey Youre dissapointed because you life is meaningless. You fucking God-haters should just shoot yourselves.

  • @Seigu007 I can see God's pure love shining through you! I am converted!

  • @RinngoStarkey Lol :)

  • @RinngoStarkey He's able to make arguments. He's obviously got a brain...

  • "How does the electron know what to do?"

There really is such a thing as a stupid question.

  • @spacecowboy95 Agreed. D'Souza is nuts, white noise...white noise. No, he's really deluded by all means lol.

  • @spacecowboy95 answer it.... :/

  • Fucking hell this guy is a retard. The "Laws" of gravitation are used to describe what is. Of course they match, Gravity came first. It's odd that the universe works the way it does? Why? Does it have a choice? LOL This guy is really a simpleton.

  • D souza is a tea party rat and crazy

he just wrote a book called "The roots of obamas rage"

  • Who started this rumor that Hitler was an atheist? Even when I believed in a god, I was never under that delusion.

  • 6:00 - 7:00 Toddlers don't have to be taught to lie, bite, hit, throw tantrums, exclude others, steal toys or defy their parents. It's the default behavior of children until a higher authority (their parents) teaches them differently.

  • Christerpher has Christ in his name. He will go to hell in a hand baskest. Is this a joke?

  • @CherB313 Yes, what you said is a joke.

  • @cowlark2000 You're a joke.

  • @CherB313 Nice!

  • @cowlark2000 I know someone who debated him and slaughtered him.

  • @CherB313 Go fuck yourself.

  • @wowamonn Are you mad? I just don't think I could bear it if you were. Hitchens has cancer from what I understand. Maybe you should pray for him. D'Sousa is going to be near my hometown. I I'd like to see him.

  • @CherB313 Is it true Jesus was a liberal? I heard he actually helped the folks who could not help themselves who could not pull themselves up by the boot straps.

  • @wowamonn No

  • @CherB313 I kinda figured he was not. To bad his followers do not follow his example see you on the other side slick.

  • @wowamonn You don't understand the Bible. When God sent Hagar and Ishmael away, why was that? It was because Hagar was a maidservant to Sarah. God wants his people free. Freely giving is one thing, but stealing from others is another.

  • @CherB313 I understand the bible pefectly I was a christian for 28 years. Your god also said if you give to people that love you what extraodinary thing are you doing are not people of the nations doing so? But the chrisitan god lets ' his ' sun shine on the wicked and the good. you should read your holy book more often. but who cares right? because when you go to heaven everyone would be taken care of .....true communism.

  • @wowamonn Forgive

  • @CherB313 Love. I don't know what changed your mind, but you make one believe in Cavalism.

  • @CherB313 The Chrisitan god comes from where all gods come from ..someones imgination.

  • @CherB313 Yes I forgive you.

  • @wowamonn I did'nt know you forgive. That is scripture, I see you like to debate. Hitchens is your god. How sad.

  • @CherB313 To forgive is not a divine action silly human. I am an Atheist I do not worship any god.

  • @wowamonn yes, I know. I believe in God. This might not be a good reason to believe, but I certainly have nothing to lose. You on the other hand have everything to lose if God indeed exists. I for one know for a fact that God exists from the experierieces I've had.

  • @CherB313 If you still beliieve in gods thats your business. I dont believe in the existance of gods because there is no evidence for them. The concept of the origin of the Universe and life on this planet has a natural explination and in the case of Evolution undeniable proof without the assistance of a supernatural being.

  • @wowamonn Are you an evelutionist, because you don't have a monkeys leg to stand on.

  • @CherB313 I believe in the Theory of Evolution becuase it is based upon Evidence unlike the existance for a god.

  • @wowamonn So your ancestors are Apes?

  • @CherB313 Humans are primates. We share 98% of our DNA with our closest cousin the African chimps. But of course christians think we are a special creation of a god.

  • @wowamonn That is innaccurate. It is lower and that does'nt even count the cytogenetics.

  • @CherB313 Thats the new data slick. We also share some retro virusus in the same locations of our DNA thus proving we shared a common ancestor thus proving common decent thus proving Evolution.

  • @wowamonn You only believe it , because you want to think you evolved from chimps slick.

  • @wowamonn Something you learned in scool.mmmm That makes know sense seeing as it is only a theory. The Biblie is consistent. You can't argue that one. You surly are a proof of Calvinism. I don't even believe in that, but you are proving me wrong.

  • @CherB313 I recommed you do some research on what a Theory means in Science it wont take long just google ' The meaning of a Theory in Science ' and then you will have a proper understanind when it is used in the sciences. Then goggle ' common descent ' if you have an understaning of how Evolution works it will avoid sillly mistakes. By the way I am not trying to be insulting.

  • @CherB313 One more thing Search donexodus2 on youtube and look for the video retro virsus or proof of evolution please try to open your mind to the science and dont shut it out because your religon requires you to defend your faith.

  • @wowamonn OK if you read the Bible.

  • @CherB313 I have read the bible cover to cover 5 times in my lifetime when I was a christian. All I am asking is that you do proper reseach about Evolution and please dont use christian websites to get your information. do your research from Evoultion vidoes and confrences on youtube. In fact search for Ken Miller on youtube he is the leading Biologist in the US who supports the Theory of Evoultion but also pratices his Catholic faith and excellent speaker who gets his point across.

  • @wowamonn You're quick! I listen to debates all the time and try to use fact and reason. Evolutionaries come up licking.

  • @CherB313 Search for this topic on youtube ' Ken Miller on Intelligent Design ' Its a lecture on ID its a 2 hour lecture. I would like you to watch the entire lecture so you may want to schedule some time but its worth it trust me.

  • @wowamonn OK, but I'll speak my mind on it.

  • @wowamonn I decided not to. Where does science come from?

  • @CherB313 Oh come one dont be like that dont close your mind because you may hate what you hear.

  • @wowamonn OK I'll read it.

  • Dinesh has the voice of an American dweeb. He is the very emanation of the spirit of universal dorkdom.

  • Hitchens rules!!!

  • I think that both men make good arguments.

  • Hitchens great intellectual failure here (assuming he isn't simply lying outright in order to flatter his audience) is his assumption that the genome is a less harsh master than God. Such an omission goes a long way in discrediting Hitching as any kind of thinker, though it does qualify him as a comedian.

  • I miss the days where I could put too death all the non-belivers.

  • @Jmsadv How very Christian of you!

  • @jthaw Yeah its hard to keep up with people like, Mao, Stalin, Poll Potts, Saddam, Nero of Rome. You Athiest really wrote the book and Slavery, War, and Murder. Congrats!

  • Hitchens is so obviously over matched here and elsewhere. It doesn't bode well for the devil if this fat boy is the best he can manage. If we ever run out of natural gas, well, stick a fork in Hitchens, he's done.

  • @Mrpuddington You are obviously delusional. Hitchens wipes the floor with D'Souza, every time.

Don’t tell me, let me guess. You believe in gods, goddesses, seven classes of angels, devils, demons and hobgoblins!

  • Why has Mr D'Souza's god made it all so confusing? Ahh that's right, he works in mysterious ways. Stalin's Russia, Mao's China, the nazi regime in Germany, come to think of it , where was God when all this was going on? Oh that's right I forgot he works in mysterious ways.

  • @kramdoog A good point but wasted on the intentionaly blind, faith brigade.

  • Hitchens is radical drinker, no a freight train

  • the way that dinesh reduces casualties by either side is deplorable. A death is a death and he disregards the sanctity of human life (hypocritically) by reducing them to a number. Christianity killed x people compared to Y which killed more, therefore christianity is not bad. it's sickening and inhumane.

  • As with all hypocritical theists (which is all), they try to use science and logic to disprove atheism, yet DO NOT apply those same principals to their belief in a god. For all of D'Souza's posturing of trying to logically eliminate atheism, he has NO logical basis for christianity.

  • Chris doesn't really deal with the main ideas at the centre of this debate - the possibility of the existence of an omnipotent creator in our universe. This isn't a concept / idea that only Christianity postulates. It exists amongst scientists too. But rather Chris just goes off on his usual christian bashing spree, picking out the various crazy stories and ideas in the bible and telling us how ridiculous they are. We know that already, lets hear you deal with the science Chris??

  • I love this Debate. D'Souza is one of very few believers that actually MAKE SENSE while making a point for religion.

  • @brickan2 I think the guy D'Souza is easy to listen to but his arguments are as always, very weak. He claims to know something absolute but fails to provide tangilble evidence that stands up to scrutiny.

  • @brickan2 hha not quite :)))

  • If you believe the Salem witch trials killed thousands then you where not educated, any child knows that AT the Salem trials Nineteen people were hanged, one person was pressed to death, and as many as thirteen people may have died in prison, one only as to research a little bit , but that's to much to ask of a religious fanatic , after all why do a research when you can just blindly say it without proof, hummm sounds a lot like Christianity .

  • Hitchens sounds good at first, but he ends up repeating himself over and over. Personally, I think he DOES believe.

  • @KeyboredNinja

Then you are as stupid as you sound.

I f you think he believes no wonder you believe in invisible men in the sky, your so stupid

  • D'Souza is a religionist moron. why debate an apologist who has no whatsoever understanding of the universe. he doesn't even know what a law is.

  • by denish's logic my claim that the lucky charm's mascot created the universe is just as valid as the claim that jesus's daddy created the universe.

  • Does anyone know where the video is in which Hitchens says about C.S. Lewis, "he often chews more than he bites off?"

  • I like this D'Souza guy but he doesn't seem to be making a real point.... He sights the fact that there are what we call natural 'laws' as evidence of a God. Also, Christianity used the bible to justify slavery, then dissenters used that same book to argue doing away with it. It's very silly, not a shinning moment in Christian history.

  • Stupid Dinesh didn't make any point here!

  • Hitchens " Dinesh is one of the most formalbe debaters"

At least Hitch was right about one thing.

  • Every freaking time I watch a debate on religion or atheism some idiot brings up Stalin and Mao. People are such morons for buying into that kind of crap. D'souza is either a liar or a fool.

  • Yeah, but it doesn't seem to piss people off when the crusades or teh inquisition is brought up. How convenient.

  • @regelemihai Perhaps that's because the crusades and the inquisitions are actually relevant to the debate.

  • Oh really now? But mentioning that the worst crimes in hjistory were perpetrated by atheists is not? Isn't that convenient...

  • @regelemihai The fact that those atrocities were carried out by people who happened to be atheists is irrelevant. The crusades, the inquisition, 9/11 etc. were carried out in the name of religion. The debate is about religion and the existence of a god, not 20th century history.

  • True, and yet Hitchens can't manage to restrain himself from debating the topic of how religion works in history; 2/3 of his book is just a continuous raving about how mnat bad things have been done in the "name of" rleigion.

Second, your claim is a little nonsensical. You don't like the fact that the worse atrocities were committed by atheists so you find a way to avoid the heat....

  • (cont) If you don't see a correlation between them being atheists and their crimes than neither can you lay the same accusation against Christianity. What does "in the name of" even mean? The doctrine has to explicitly promote violence, otherwise "in the name of" applies to atheism as well. If I kill people "in the name of" the Care Bears, does that make the Care Bears sadistic? It's idiotic.

  • @regelemihai The title of the book is 'God is not great, how religion poisons everything'. What were you expecting when you read it?

I don't care if the worst atrocities in history were committed by atheists, atheism is the rejection of a claim, not an ideology.

The Christian bible does explicitly promote violence.

Christianity = a belief system centred around an ancient tome containing barbaric laws and rituals and ridiculous superstitions.

Atheism = the lack of belief in a god or gods.

  • Atheism, the belief that God or a deity doesn't exist. It is indeeda rejetion, but it's a system of belief nontheless.

Christianity, a religion centered around the teachings of Jesus of nazareth that rebukes violence and coersion.

There is no correlation between the violence of Christians and their religion. Just like there's no correlation between atheism and violence.

  • @regelemihai It's quite obvious from that comment that you either have no idea what you're talking about, or you're trolling. Either way, there's absolutely no point in trying to get the point through to you. Good bye.

  • Lol, that is not a proper responce. What gives you the impression that I "don't know what I'm talking about?" Is that your default setting when your assertions are refuted? Try harder.

I've made my case. Yours is based on a fallacy. You are confusing causations with correlation. Just because people "kill ikn the name of" a given ideaology does not mean that the ideaology itself is corrupt. I gave you the example with the Care Bears.

    I'm not trolling.

  • *Response.

  • @regelemihai You've made your case and I've pointed out to you where you're wrong.

Christianity is a belief system. It is fair to use the actions of Christians as an indictment against the religion when the religion explicitly condones said actions or leads its followers to believe that such actions could be justified.

Atheism is not a belief system. Atheism is the rejection of a single claim. You cannot go from 'I do not believe in gods' to 'must stage a communist revolution'...

  • Ok, fair enough. Where does the New Testament incide people to massacre people and convert them by force? That's why I'm saying that relegating the actions of a faction to their ideology is a fallacy. You have to point out that there's a direct cause between what the ideology promotes and what its followers are doing.

  • @rgiwillia God doesn't exist so I can do what ever I want. Deal with it rgiwillia.

  • @Jmsadv Good for you I suppose. I don't see why you felt the need to reply to a week old comment with such a statement.

  • @regelemihai ... A person must hold some positive beliefs in order to decide to take that action.

Many Christians are taught that the bible is the word of God.

The bible says that homosexuals are an abomination against God, and that they should be killed.

Die-hard Christian now believes that they are obligated to kill homosexuals.

That is an action for which the 'holy text' is obviously responsible.

If the Care Bears told kids to stone gays then it would be responsible.

  • @regelemihai 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor HOMOSEXUAL OFFENDERS nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

It would be foolish to draw a link from the Care Bears to acts of violence. The Care Bears are entirely innocent. Christianity & the bible are not.

  • Ok, how is that an incitment to kill homosexuals? Unless you're making personal extrapolations you can't claim the text says we should act violentlky. The evidence is ALL to the contrary if you read the Gospels.

I asked for a phrase where violence is encouraged, you cite one where Paul speaks against sexual immorality.

  • @regelemihai if you want the bible text that says you should kill homosexuals it is Leviticus 20:13 hope that helps.

  • @regelemihai saying you believe in nothing is not a belief. try harder next time.

  • Boy, I would've if I needed to.

Belief in nothing is a contradiction. The very belief you hold in the contradictory statement is a belief itself. If you believe in nothing than you don't believe that you believe in nothing. It's self refuting.

Also, to draw a correlation between a belief and its results hinges on what it advocates. If Christinaity doesn't advocate mass conversions by force, gratuitous use of violence and et al. it's asinine to say that Christinaity is the cause of suffering

  • @regelemihai i dont know why you introduced babbling nonsense about christianity which i didnt even make a point about.

actually when people say a belief in nothing they mean an absence of belief. call it bad grammar but that is what people mean.

  • Riiiigghttt.

Religion is much more logical than common sense and REALITY. Spark of the devine...

    Sure...suuuuuure.

  • @ttiger5050 The problem with trying to parody religion is you sound like a religious person. That shows how absurd their thinking is.

  • USSR, not religious, just during Stalins rule killed or imprisoned into gulags or by simple express execution over 12 million people.

If there is no evil in this world, and that evil is just a state of mind, why then, has everyone that has come along in history that preached in the name of love, was murdered. Think about it.

  • Sadly you can't have nice Athiest without people like Stalin, Mao. It's time to rid ourselves of these dangerous Athiest and their belief's. Don't you Athiest realize how stupid you sound when you post comments like this. Lets rid ourselves of people who belive in Bigfoot too. How stupid. If you don't belive in something then what do you care that other believe. I have a shirt that says " You can't be both Agnostic and Smart". hahahahaha

  • @Jmsadv Yeah, and there is definitely no religious counter points to be mad on that, eh?

  • @Lukeor made*

  • Oh my goodness... He listed Nazism as an atheist regime... How could he be so ridiculously stupid. Oh I hope Hitchens picks him up on that.

  • You mean you didn't know Hitler hated Christianity? You wanna re-think your whole indignation with his "stupidity?"

  • The nazi idea for creating the master race was an entirely secular ideology. It stemmed from darwinian evolution and nietzches conception of the will to power. Hitler was acting in the name of scientific progress. he may have believed in the pagan gods or whatever but his ideology was entirely secular.

  • Comment removed

  • Your statement is not necessarily correct: He debated William Lane Craig, who is the pre-eminent christian philosopher and highly respected as well.

  • @Challuayacu... You're correct, he did debate William Lane Craig. Up until watching a bit of that debate a day or two ago, I hadn't observed Hitchens debate anyone of a true philosophical background.

Having said that, Hitchens' logic (or lack thereof at times) at times completely bunk. Even worse, he shows a tremendous disregard for intellectual honesty (as does Dawkins) regarding the athiestically fueled regimes of Pol Pot, Stalin, Mao, et cetera.

  • @realtick I must admit that I find your remarks risible if not contemptible. Your comment and others herein reflect a level of logical and intellectual laziness. Furthermore, I am sure as to whether you are serious about your claims of Hitchens, Dawkins, etc. So if you wish to seriously converse and debate, you must first present an argument: So, sir, do so: and I shall answer, otherwise your comments are mere ad hominem inanities. Peace!

  • How rich; I wasn't aware that I was in a debate or at the very least even a conversation with you where I would have to present an argument.

Ad hominem attacks are precisely what make up the entirety of the posts your athiest friends are posting in regards to Souza.

Here's a question for you to bat around. Do you feel Hitchens' "challenge" to Souza regarding "name one moral action done by a thiest that couldn't be done by an athiest..." is unanswerable for a thiest? If so, why?

  • "I hadn't observed Hitchens debate anyone of a true philosophical background"

Id hardly classify WLC as a philosopher, he's a theologian, which isnt really a subject at all, its just organised excuse making for invisible gods.

As for Stalin etc, give it up, its useless.

  • @realtick even worse is dawkins. if hitchens' logic would get torn to shreads, dawkins' would be sifted like wheat

  • that is not something to panic about, Daniel Dennett is easily better than either of them.

  • @Grandecasla daniel dennett (double d's) is the love child of william howard taft, colonel sanders, and charles darwin.. and he teaches at tufts.. lol..

he's certainly a few steps up from dawkins. certainly no nietzsche though.

  • I could neither deny or affirm that because I simply can't listen to more than five minutes of Dennett. He's easily the athiests version of Doug Wilson; they are horrendously poor lecturers.

  • Dear God, here I was thinking that we made the laws, based upon our observations of the universe. AND OF COURSE THEY MADE SENSE. WE MADE THEM UP.

  • WOW! D'Souza is a complete cretin.

  • dinesh is a wily one, but hitchens is an f*ing freight train.

  • @paxson001 Dinesh is lying scum.

  • 4:25 dinesh looks like a mongoose. Is that why this video's provider is called operationmongoose?

    if not, strange co incidence....
