Why is changing gender the one sacred thing that no one is supposed to do? It seems very outdated to label it taboo. Still though it's not the case that we have to change our physical make up to be or "match" who we our on the inside. That seems like a lot of trouble to go through just to conform to a gender binary set up by society saying that man=penis woman=vagina. That just doesn't add up and in no way makes any sence. It is absolute bull shit in every possible meaning of the word!
A transsexual is simply somebody who is born with the wrong brain setup and ends up living as the opposite sex because of it. No more, no less. If one can do that without surgery or so on, more power to them. At the same time, it is an issue of sex and not gender. That is the real reason we are considered dangerous; we are among the outsiders of this constructed sex binary system. It is also why transsexuals are not really transgender; some are, but the vast majority are not.
