  • @PikachuJackskeling94 tim burton will never die coz he's effing immortal!

  • thanks for uploading this!

  • 3:17 The survivors... lol

  • I laughed when Vincent came up 3:33-3:45

  • Picasso can go to hell! This is the stuff they should put in all galleries these days!

  • I went to that. The Corpse Bride/ Nightmare characters absolutely incredible. It's hard to believe they got some of these clay sculptures to stand up, let alone move properly.

  • Wow...That's a brain I would love to borrow for a semester of art school.

  • I'm wearing jack skellington slippers, socks, pants, shirt... while holding a plushie and watching this..... the only thing that could make this moment more perfect is if tim burton walked through my front door!! :)

  • dear tim: after 20 year of grotesque creatures, naif style drawed characters, doll-like sewed girls, and spirals try something different... unique interessing part of this exhibition: pictures and models of films like mars attack, batman 1st, edward scissors hands,etc... in my opinion the rest are "cool things", but nothing to do with art... every scribble become a masterpiece..

    sincerely

one of your best fans from italy

    peace to all

  • is this ever coming back to the MoMA?

  • One of the most innovative and creative artists of the century

  • they also have a similar exhibit at LACMA in Los Angeles

  • what would this world be without Tim Burton

  • I SAW IT SO COOL!

  • :( I went to NYC only 2 days after this ended, and I'm his biggest fan :((((

  • 'o'...

WHAT THE EFF, WHY DOES NEW YORK GET ALL THE GOOD STUFF HAPPENING THERE, AND NOWHERE ELSE!?

  • I was in New York on a college trip when this was on and was supposed to be going, but we didn't get chance :-( Still, I aleady have the first edition of his art book that came out - the deluxe version with the signed lithograph ;-) May have cost £200, but for everyone who bought it, I am sure they know it was worth it :D

  • I went to the one in LA and spent 3 hours in it, but my mom wouldn't let me stay longer, stupid dinner

  • music if perfect for it~!! but who's the band who sings, and the artwork BADASS!!!

  • EDWARD SISSORHANDS

  • I went recently in LA and it was incredible. I gained an enormous amount of respect for him as an artist to go along with my previous respect for him as a film maker. He is a true genious.

  • Tim needs his own museum!

  • Mars Attacks would have GREATLY benefitted from showing the Martians eating flesh like in the stop motion test. *lol*

  • I went over my winter break in 5th grade.

    It was absolutely fabulous.

  • I would love to see a house designed by him :3

  • i saw his on march and might i say its awesome.

i wanted to go there so badly.then in may it opened at lacma and i went.yay!

its now at LACMA if you wanna see it folks!

  • Muchas Gracias!!! Esta es la única manera en la que puedo disfrutar de la exposición de este gran artista! Desde Argentina millones de gracias por este video!

  • Kinda reminds me of Jhonen Vasquez's drawings o.O

  • You need to put another song on after the 1st one finishes, But other than that great vid!

  • WENT TO IT IN LA WAS GREAT :D

  • I saw an exhibit for Tim Burton just a few days ago and saw some of the puppets and his drawings it was pretty cool.

  • AMAZING! love Tim.

    if i only i could go :(

  • @iLuvUMyCheM If you live in Los Angeles, LACMA is having an exhibition of his work too :D

    it ends on Halloween 2011

  • @Gutslove i went to that exhibit already and it was so cool!

  • I'm not a big fangirl of his or anything, but I was SO pissed when I found out I missed it.

  • es fascinante...seria genial poder estar alli..

  • es fascinante...seria genial poder estar alli..

  • Music is not right....use something less caustic. Playful music to make a child happy would be better suited. Kids can be demons though....

  • in what F**** country is this

  • Tim Burton is the best animator of all time a pure genius!!!!!!!

  • That Exhibit came to Melbourne last year! I saw it :D

  • why are there MARS ATTACKS stop motion figures? where they used in the movie???

  • I would love to go! :)

  • @inkartist97 "your" extremely talented artists is playing nthing but a joke in all of you fans. His art is camp,it's a joke and meant to be.hideous, the funny thing is you take it seriously. LOL Burton creates intentional camp, how do u like those apples?

  • @PtAltmVansanTarr Art is interpreted in the eye of the viewer, who are you to bash and or insult someone elses perspective of Tim Burtons art work. You may see his art as camp and utter crap, but that is your oppinion, while in others oppinions he is a talented artist, with a knack for dark and expressive imagery. Sure he may be no Michelangelo, but for our modern times his art is wonderful, and certainly better than most modern art I have had the unfornuate opportunity to see.

  • It's ok if you dislike some of his art; if think it would be more offensive if you liked all of it ignorantly.

  • Terrible music, I also don't understand Burtons popularity

  • @PtAltmVansanTarr to each their own, dear human being, and he's popular because he lets out what we all have in the depths of our minds ; that creepy, yet somehow extremely drawing world of imagination and twisted tales. R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

  • He is a genius.

  • The world will lose a wonderfully amazing person when Tim Burton dies. Who else can put two totally different things for example Halloween and Christmas, The Nightmare Before Christmas, together?! NO ONE THAT'S WHO!!!

  • @PikachuJackskeling94

    I can! xDD

  • @AquaSkinnieJeans *says playfully* Says you

  • @PikachuJackskeling94 ever heard of david lynch

  • @Puelof no. But still Tim is the BEST

  • @PikachuJackskeling94 watch this. then tell me who is better

    /watch?v=nwEK7onUO6M

eraserhead pencil factory scene, is the name of the tittle.

Tim Burton steels David Lynches ideas and original stuff he uses in film.

  • @Puelof NA I'm good. I like Tim.

  • @PikachuJackskeling94 From making Vincent, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Beetlejuice, my favorite Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare (Which HENRY SELICK DIRECTED and was almost completely overlooked. Tim had little to do with Nightmare but gets all the credit. But it was his characters! Bringing his original characters to life leaves me in awe). he went from all that to Planet of the Apes and fucking Willy Wonka (TOTALLY NOT NEEDED FROM THE ORIGINAL TIM). So long as he continues with characters I'm in!

  • @ryanranger what you said about Tim Burton having little to do with the Nightmare before christmas is COMPLETELY not true. yes Henry Selick directed it but Tim wrote the whole story and produced it, it was ALSO based on a poem he wrote he deserves the credit he got

  • 2:02 love mars attacks and these statues compliment it particularly!

2:26 are these from mars attacks?

    2:34 EDWARD SC1550RHAND5!!!!!!!!

  • @tiabbzz 1) Tim actually originally intended for the special effects in Mrs Attacks to be in stop motion, but was pressed for time, and had to use CGI. Those aren't just statues, they're puppets!

    2)Yep, It's the head of Peirce Brosnan and...that actress I can't remember

3)HE'S SO MUCH BETTER THAN SOME OTHER EDWARDS!!

  • I LOVE HIM he's my icon! did you get in? any good pictures? Sorry I ask alot of questons. What was it like? Was he there? Will it ever come to ireland? Why is that emo music playing? It's rubbish! Please post me anythin to do with tim burton he's my icon.. :D T

  • The one at ACMI was better. It had a darker, more twisted atmosphere.

  • so creative!

he should travell around the world with this exhibition, visit Europe))

There're a lot of his fans for example in Ukraine, and not all european fans have a posibility to visit New York)))

  • Can you still go ?

  • It was an amazing exhibit, Im glad i went, i wound up in there for 2 hours. The Hansel and gretel movie was funny.. I gotta agree with everyone about the guards, just in general the guards who work here act like jerks. Thats why i refuse to join

  • @LadyGaGaExposed they should have the exhibit again this year but make it bigger and have TIM autograph something for everyone

  • whats the song?

  • @TheDeadMatchbook the band is called Emok the song is called "People"

  • @mgmcr3 Ok thanks alot, i was looking for this all around haha

  • i was there and they didnt let me take pictures

  • omg i want a pic with edward!! D': is it possible to sneak a pic?

  • @loversinjapan3 I snapped a camera phone picture very discreetly, but once the guard saw I had my phone out (a few minutes later...), he came over and told me to put it away. I managed to get a pretty good photo of the Edward suit, but they are being crazy about it.

  • me likes. me likes alot.

  • song?

  • How did you get these photos? I was there like two weeks ago and they were Nazi's to me about taking pictures...
