  • I have seen the World machine from Hedco but they take a lot of energy. the Supercrystal is the highest producing snowgu on the market today and it does it using much less energy then others on the market. Plus the nozzle and nucleators don't freeze.

  • you should try the world gun from dewie electronics

  • Guns with valves max out at 15-20 degrees and the central nozzle can continue to open as it gets colder. It also changes the particle size. At low flows the particle is small and will freeze easier and at high flow the particles are very big and will be less likely to float away or evaporate. Some people have called it gropple. The production at marginal temps and start temp is comparable to any other "super"gun but the central nozzle begins to pull away and make more snow in the low 20's.

  • Guns with valves have a stepped flow curve, ie: valve 1 20 gpm, valve 2 40 gpm, etc. The central nozzle can open and close to adjust flow every gpm and it is possible to flow up to 250 gpm with this nozzle. The flow adjust is infinite up to that flow, you need 700 psi to reach it and -10.

  • The Supercrystal doesn't have valves, all flow adjustment is made with the nozzle. The nozzle is based on a fire hose nozzle and it has a baffle and a turbine. The baffle is in the center of the nozzle and there is an opening all the way around (about 2" in diameter). The nozzle moves forward and back to open and close the orifice thus changing the flow. The turbine is the last thing the water touches and it has jagged teeth and spins at a high rate of spead to break up the water stream.

  • that looks weird as hell. hows it compare too other guns?
