This tv special made him seem so much more likeable to me, whereas Victoria's didn't really. I mean, it made her seem more like a normal person, but not necessarily more likeable. Their boys are SO cute, though!

@ambren86 Trust me, their coming to America did revive their celebrity status. David Beckham would have being a former famous soccer player and Victoria's fashion line would have being successful only in the Uk, and not anywhere close in the US. Nobody recognized Victoria as a fashion icon before their move. David was labeled a soccer player and Victoria ''FAMOUS FOR BEING FAMOUS", and also best known for being a QUEEN WAG. Their move did help her reinvent herself in a big way.

I think David has taken English football in America to a different level and most definitely a higher level. It obviously was not going to be elavated to American Football status so quickly and it will be a long time until it will be because just like English Football is a pastime for the British and every other country in the frickin' world, lol American Football is a pastime for us Americans, something we can created and something we're proud of.
