The diference between Violator and Sepultura is that Violator tryes to be(and is) classic Thrash Metal, while Sepultura tryed to inovate, taking Groove Metal(or Neo-Thrash) to a new level, but still maintaning Thrash Metal caracterists. The only actual diference between new and old Sepultura is that new Sepultura uses more percussion instruments than before.
