  • I am very interested in this kind of simulation. Please contact me

  • Hello,

This is very interesting indeed. Were you able to compare this simulated behavior to which of an actual inflatable structure of such shape? If so did the results concur?

  • That's seriously interesting! What size model is this and what load is placed on it?

  • Hello,

Thanks for your comment. The model is essentially very small and was built using a toolkit that we've develloped. This took about 15 minutes. The toolkit allows to create inflatable tubular structures by simply the nodes, radii and internal pressure as input. The structure resembles a small tent with a footprint of about 3 by 3 meters. The load is introduced in the intersection of four lines comming from the top corners. The load steadily increases from 0 to about 500 Newtons.

  • very nice!

what kind of toolkit is that? it would be very helpful for my current project.

  • It's a toolkit I made myself for MSC ADAMS
