There Thor also appear as something of a misguided villain in a 1950s Batman comic as well

@v2freak I think Wonder Woman is more similar to Thor than Superman. Wonder Woman is half Thor mythology and half Captain America secret agent missions.

I don't like to read plain Captain America or Thor unless it is original by Jack Kirby or in their adventures as Avengers.

Now that Thor has Odin's unlimited powers, hes like Bill Batson who took Shazam's place as the new sage simply called "Marvel" & has white hair.

A WW vs Thor match is interesting. She has the same advantages over him as Superman has, but unlike Superman she can meet him on equal footing as a warrior. Depending on the version, She also has the edge in that there isn't a way to cancel her powers but if Thor is still bound by the rule regarding Mjolnir being away for too long, his powers could be nullified. She's faster, at least as strong and her defenses cancel all of his primary offensive powers.

@CraigJericho Wonder Woman has actually wielded Thor's power before, in the first DC/Marvel crossover. She never actually fought Thor in that comic; Mjolnir disappeared right out of Thor's hands after he used it to block Shazaam's Lightning from reaching Billy Bastion so he couldn't turn back into Captain Marvel, then reappeared in front of Diana.

That's the costume she wears after she gains Thor's power.

I think it just gives Thor a wider range of attack by letting hit his opponent with lightning from almost anywhere onscreen... I'm not exactly sure on that though.

Thor is just 1 god.

It'd be an interesting match, but I'd say if WW wanted it bad enough, she'd absolutely win.

Um, that's Captain Marvel. From the back of a Superman graphic novel: "Only WONDER WOMAN has the strength to fight Superman . . . " You should check out both their books where they appear together. They are fairly evenly matched in raw power. Superman's advantages are offensive while her advantages are defensive. It's toss up when they throw down.
