Lucky you didnt play the multiplayer lol, like you said, "this game is not a shooter", but dont get me wrong the game is amazing. I totally agree they should never have progressed to the shooting stage. The whole Dark Athena first half is great, then as soon as the guns come into play, it starts to show its age

well, im not a massive fan. i knew of half life before it got the orange box but i had never really played it until then. tbh i found it lacking in comparison to shooters like gears 2 but its still fast paced mindless shooty fun. you can sprint to move faster, you put the baddies in the middle of the screen and pull RT until they fall down, you can carry all weapons at the same time and the physics are undeniably fun to piss around with.

@HammettSHREDZ yh, and Fallout 3 Game of the year edition, all DLCs on 1 disc, well, one disc for PS3 anyways. AoDA was, is, great though, the developers haven't realy changed much since EFBB, the movies are also pretty good, the blood effects in riddick games are awsome tho.

@HammettSHREDZ please... half lfie and all of its episodes are only as long as many shooters without expansions and portal is < 2 hours. TF2 is getting better, but when it came out the game was super weak on content.

This game, for example, is basically as long as Half Life + its expansions + portal, easily, though I'd say this games is better. They both have multiplayer modes, essentially- TF2 obviously wins over this games multiplayer mode
