this is a great sampler, I trekked in this area in 81 so it brought back some great memories, do you know the name of the Sitar player in the photo, he looks familiar to me as I spent some time living in Kathmandu learning Sitar from a local teacher

I've just ordered your DVD. It's so difficult to get informations about the Helambu region, although having been one of the most popular routes in the eighties and early ninties. Nowadays people rush to get to the highest peaks and most spectacular regions like Everest or Annapurna.
Thank you very much. A license to bring a video camera into that portion of Nepal cost a great deal of money so we did the whole movie with stills. An experience of a lifetime! The Nepali are a warm gracious people despite their impoverishing government.
