I'm with you, TheShadow. Music isn't a contest with a winner. Both guys are great singers with different styles. I'd put both guys in the same league as Chris Cornell and Robert Plant; another two guys with totally different styles. Awesome work by Hurt on this tune!

About the whole staind thing... I'm a HUGE staind fan... but I also Like hurt I dunno... I dont think they are much of a comparrison to each other even though both are GREAT. I dunno. Staind started out harder than hell with the Tormented cd... And Hurts Volume: 1 has it's melodic periods in it...

But none the less not arguing... Love them both =)

You really can't take away the musicianship of these guys, it's just so amazing. The vocals are emotional and powerful, the guitar riffs are just breath-taking and the whole layour of each of their songs are pure genius. This band is destined for great things, trust me.

Thats what makes it great. Its not like EVERYTHING else out there. You add in the variety of string instruments they use (Mandolin, violin) plus his voice and its really unique. HURT ROCKS!
