Can you only do the "1 arm lever" on a double point lyra? It doesn't look like a true 1 arm lever because the other arm is holding on...and I can do a modified 1 arm lever on a chair using the back to brace against with the free arm, and one on the ground finding balance on a 1 arm lever for about 2 seconds only. I've been trying to do a modified 1 arm lever on a single point lyra....but the whole thing shakes like mad when I try. Not sure if it's just a stability thing that a 2 point gives you?

@makrenee Do you mean the crocodile she does in the lyra at 1:42? Because I do that in both a single point and double point lyra. It can be done in either, though it does shake a little more in a single tab.

@bellacurva1 Yeah that's the one I meant. I'm having some troubles getting into it in the lyra. It's not a problem for me to do it on the ground or on canes, but I suppose it requires more stabilizer muscles in the lyra? Work in progress!

Beautiful work!!! I have always wondered how do these super-acrobats keep their legs free of bruises, dark spots and marks. I mean, the hoop is really hard and many of those figures hurt a lot... =S
