It's amazing how you come to the realization of how much Homme is actually influenced by Black Sabbath. Just listen to his vocals. He's not the best singer but he's one of my favorites. Don't know about anybody else, but he fucking sounded eerily similar to Ozzy to me. It was fucking dead on.....

They inspired metal artists, but they were a heavy, classical rock band. I don't know what the hell Megadeth are, but if they are 'thrash metal' then they are still listed under metal, dude. Queens aren't stoner rock, maybe somewhat on the first album and in parts in SFTD, but they are just alternative rock. Kyuss, they are stoner rock.
