Actually, this is my favorite production of all you've posted. But, I've always been fond of the "swingle" style since I first heard them in the early 1960's. It was almost considered a little "sacreligious" at the time, but it was a natural permutation of Bach, and I think he would have loved it! With this new technology available, I think you'll start to see college music majors be required to do multi-track projects as part of the curriculum--with some very creative results possible. hmmm..
@jimbopete69 thanks! this is one of my favorites too. That would be cool if this became something I could do for school.. but I don't think it will, just because while you could be the most amazing singer ever, most people don't have the range to do this.. so I don't think it will be required.
@jimbopete69 Well, I could see it in instrumental music also. Say piano students doing multi-track on multi-hand arrangements, violins, horns... or they could search out good singers and learn the software, etc. BTW.. Bach's music was considered sacreligious (showboating in church) at the time. And, only 1/3 of his music survived. It is said one of his sons (after his death) thought the written music was worthless, and used it to wrap the garbage! yikes.
@xXTheCrunchXx thanks! I'm sorry I don't have the time to do step-by-step instructions, but it's pretty self-explanatory.
record yourself singing all of the parts, and then layer them together, mix them and the edit the videos together. in layman's terms thats about it. Of course it's more complicated than that, but if you have any specific questions feel free to message me
Fantastic performances, vision, video design, audio recording and mixing. But as an audio engineer, I reckon that the microphone sounds like it's 2 inches from the mouth, but you can't see it. I reckon that in order to record this so well in sync, you need to be listening to the other parts WITH HEADPHONES so you can keep in time and not have the sound heard by the microphones, but I can't see any headphones either. I suspect the audio is premixed, and video is the artist self-miming. ;-)
I'll admit, this guy's good, but Danny's in college. He's going for a music major. He's had 4 years of vocal classes and possibly even more years training. Unless this guy's been taking private lessons all/most of his life (which I'm not saying he hasn't, because I don't know), he's got a while before he can match up to Danny. Key points: Some of his words slur together and makes them hard to understand. Also he needs to open his mouth a little more. And there's
@Nosreaf well I have fairly decent blend to begin with, so I try to blend when i'm recording each part, and then I mixed it so it would blend even better
I LOVE TO SING TOO!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE ALL OF YOUR STUFF!!!!!! How old are you and where are you at? I am almost out of high school. I'm a guy, but NOT AT ALL gay. I just want to sing with people like you. :)
@danwright32 I just didn't want to freak you out or make you think that I am that kind of person because I LOVE music and singing. Btw, I'm 18 as well.
Well done, Dan. I could never pull-off a medley like that!
I agree with the others that the video is a bit too resemblant to Danny's, but as you said, it's just the icing on the cake. Still, it's the first impression one gets and it counts. I like your productions in part because of the effort you put into making a nice layout, it really counts, even if I am more audio-oriented as you hope your viewers are.
I think you have the means to make your creations completely yours every time.
Amazing, I don't even know how you didn't get tongue tied on some of that let alone get the notes and timing right.
I used to play piano accordion in a folk band so most of these tunes are familiar to me, thanks for bringing back good memories...just how much better can you get!?!
Perfect.

@bhsbass also little mistakes, but nothing major. Most singers make them so they can be easily overlooked.
But all-in-all, I disagree with you. This guy is good, but isn't as good as Danny.

@bhsbass thanks! that means a lot
