  • I got blisters on my FinGErS

  • @obatron1 ur shit dumbass and clean ur ears

  • This is the shit!!!! Bang out mothafuckas!!!!

  • I'm 16 years old, and i very fucking apologize for the music of our generation

  • @yodruker

    Well said, brother. Well said.

  • @yodruker no you are not

  • The Beatles invented everything. Including the sliced loaf. End of discussion.

  • fajne

  • dude i wish i could see footage of paul singing this in the studio. it would be SO HOT

  • Ozzy is a fan of the beatles. This song has nothing to do with Tony Iommi, with his accident.

  • @Kamyu03 Harrison played this without having an accident, problem?

  • @ChrizzSudaka You clearly don't know what i was taking about.

  • @ChrizzSudaka Iommi's accident was what gave Black Sabbath their unique sound, google it champ ;)

  • @TheGabboxd Don't need to google it, champ.. I already know it... When he was working on a factory and he lost two or three fingers, so to keep playing guitar he put like pieces of steel on his hands...

  • Me got blisters in my hands!!!

  • Heavy Metal was created by Black Sabbath, Tonny Iommi invented Metal's riff. This is somewhere between a proto-hardrock. Never heard or read while looking for the roots of heavy metal this song being cited as having anything to do with it's creation, unlike let's say... Iommi's accident.

  • @Kamyu03 black sabbth biggest idol the beatles// think about it

  • Honestly, despite the debate on if this was the birth of heavy metal or not, i have to go with the fact that it was the first headbanging-till-your-eyes-fall-out metal song.

  • @overlyretardedvideos - Gold!! :)

This version is like a little over four and half minutes, yet the whole studio out take was over 26 minutes, hence the reason for the fading in and out of segments and Ringo's "I've got blister's on my fingers", at the end!

I guess you may well have head-banged 'til your eyes fell out, to the version! Cheers.... :)

  • @BSeenMediacomedy your obviously just being an ignorant, stuborn, fool, if you you say you can't see the origins of metal in this song.....but if your ignorant you dont know how idiotic you are so we cant really blame you can we....

  • Everyone is saying this is where heavy metal was born. Honestly im going to disagree, because the heavy metal genre is not just a sound, its also its own culture. The beatles are NOT and will NEVER be labeled as the pioneers of metal and its because this is only one song and the beatles image has never went with the metal scene. We all know it's the generally accepted fact that Sabbath was the real beginning of what we call metal. Yes this song has metal elements, but they didnt start metal....

  • @MrSmeldabeaver95 Someone needs to know the difference between metal and heavy metal

  • @SILVERSKULL126 enlighten me then good sir. All i'm stating is that the Beatles aren't metal or heavy metal, and one song can't just make them the pioneers of it especially when they were long established as a pop/rock band. Far, far from metal in my book. They weren't trying for a dark sound that Sabbath and Zeppelin had established in their sound. I mean when i think Beatles, i think happy, poppy songs, and i know their later stuff was darker, but it wasnt metal dark or heavy

  • @MrSmeldabeaver95 Lemmy Kilmister's favorite band.... The Beatles. Look up "Lemmy and The Beatles" on youtube and watch Lemmy talk about Lennon's dark sense of humor.

  • @MrSmeldabeaver95 You are wrong. The Beatles were very very dark. They wrote songs serial killers who murdered their girlfriend, teacher, and a judge. They wrote songs about strippers, lesbians, and they put Aleister Crowley on the cover of Srgt Pepper. Look up "The Beatles Butcher Cover" on google. They put that album cover out in 1966. Look up Charles Manson and "Helter Skelter". Look up Ozzy Osbourne's #1 influence? The Beatles. Isn't Ozzy the lead singer of Sabbath?

  • @BSeenMediaComedy ehh well, i guess im wrong. Im sorry guys. My fault, honestly i've never been a fan of the Beatles, i friend told me to look this up because we were debating where metal got it's start and i said it was from Black Sabbath and he insisted it was from this song right here. I just always pegged them to be a happy band with all their early radio friendly stuff. But i still think that Sabbath really did get the gears turning for metal.

  • @MrSmeldabeaver95 wow what do ya know youtube debates can end nicely....

  • the white album, despite it's criticisms is one of my favourite beatles albums

  • I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON MAH FINGERS... From pressing the replay button that is[:

  • thumbs up if you think Charles Manson should die

  • this song should be played a loud as possible!!!

  • i've got blisters on my mind

  • This is a "dizzy iper-boogie", not metal.

  • I GOT BLISTERS ON ME FINGERS!

  • "LIKE" if every time you hear the word helter skelter it reminds you of Charlie Manson :D

  • And God said: " Let there be Metal ".

  • This sounds ridiculously like Led Zeppelin. Especially at 2:34 . McCartney just sounds like Robert Plant down to a T. Insane!

  • @thecrossfirecasualty Haha, it does.

  • here we come watch out and yes we are the beatles not the stones mr.

  • 3 Charles Manson followers are getting a bit impatient waiting for that race war.

  • Just as Paul can write great melody of ballads, he can go to the other end of the spectrum & ROCK, POUND, KICK FUCKING ASS!!!!!! Just another example of his creative, artistic range, along with the other Beatles of course. See, when your truly musically talented, your not limited to just one thing, the sky's the limit.

  • This is proof that The Fab Four are the metal creators!! :3

  • I firmly believe there's a dichotomy in life... the person you are before you've heard this song, and the person you are after you've heard this song. One of the few "life-changers" that exist in music.

  • This is the first hard rock song ever , Velvet Underground sucks . The Beatles are the best !!!!!

  • I am not sure why, but when I hear this song it pumps me up. Like I can do anything. When I was younger my mom used to play this for me and would do back flips off the bed, and run around the house screaming Helter Skelter.

  • Paul is a genius

  • i dont find the message of war mr. manson

  • @WeeBeenie That's because YOU are normal. HE obviously wasn't... ;-)

  • NO the low E does NOT need to b in tune.

  • i love the end part where Ringo says" I got blisters on my fingers" :)

  • @KingofDrums19 It's Lennon playing that.

  • Helter Skelter: It's coming down FAST!

  • <3 amazing song <3

  • K fuck i mistaken the story of helter skelter a bit and everyone's fucking raging on me except nevermindit Enjoy the FUCKING SONG

  • @adiosdeadman what you say dude?

  • @metalblond1 this song was based off charles manson then I get it wrong everyone starts freaking out at me PEOPLE ENJOY THE MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • my friends don't like the beatles becouse they say ther music is 'to mild' yeah, i did'n got that either

  • The Beatles>life

  • RISE

  • I think what most of you don't know, is that this song was one of the worlds biggest cereal killers' motivations, Charlie Manson was based on this song, and god he murdered so badly in its name, so don't you start talking about finding, killing, and mostly, don't ya think you can be British on a Brit bands song, we don't like phonies either, So how about ya just enjoy the song without posting hate or stupidity in it.

  • @adarL3 i think youmeant SERIAL killer unless he killed captain crunch and tony the tiger

  • does anyone else have a sudden urge to kill the phonies lol

  • 3 losers got blisters on there fingers

  • Who wants to go find the 3 haters....Pricks!!!!

  • This song gives me the chills for 2 reasons: The great beat in it...and Charles Manson.

  • @AGreenSkies PIGS!

  • crank it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • And so heavy metal was created...

  • @montenegro1196 Shut up. Listen to Sister Ray or Voodoo Chile . ( Not Child )

  • @AlecEntwistle I'm pretty sure those were recorded after Helter Skelter. The Beatles recorded Helter Skelter in July 1968.

  • Most eclectic album ever! No one matches their diverse tunes/songs!

  • Look OUT .............

  • @TheVoyage27 I GOT BLISTERS ON MA FINGERS!

  • John Lennon fucking rocks the bass!

  • @yetimichael Actually, my dear friend, it is not John Lennon on the bass. The man who's destroying those poor thick chords is Paul McCartney.

  • @Guitarliuk93 its John Lennon, Paul Mccartney played lead guitar on this song,

  • This song KICKS ASS! This is soooo much better than todays shit that is played on the radio! This is what music really is!

  • This song is meant to be played LOUD!

  • SERIOUSLY....................

CHARLES MANSON SUCKS FAT ASS DICK.........

POINT BLANK PERIOD, LET'S NOT EVER MENTION HIS NAME AGAIN...

  • @niggaT42000 how dare you say that about a beatles fan

  • @niggaT42000 How much has the stae of california spent to keep charlie and the gang alive for forty years?

  • I've been listening to the remastered versions of these sonds for about an hour now, and all I can say is that the experience could to some be percieved as listening to a fantastic song for the first time again.

  • Favorite Beatles song. So glad my dad showed me this.

  • charlies favorite song!

  • I got blisters on my fingers!!!!!!!!! epic!!!

  • Alright- This will probably be cause for great scorn for some people, but....How badass would a White Stripes cover of this be?

  • @zathusura78910 Get out.

  • I can't decide. Is this song about trying to make it with a girl at the amusement park, or is it personal instructions from the Beatles to me letting me know I am Jesus and need to bring on a race war?

  • Oddly, it's the tracks on "Magical Mystery Tour" that benefit most from the remastering. "I Am the Walrus", "Hello Goodbye", and *especially* "Strawberry Fields Forever" (you can hear Martin counting down the tracks to keep them, um, "off kilter" and make them very trippy.) It's the song that launched a thousand trips, I'm sure... HE was the "fifth Beatle", and it's amazing what he did in the studio at the time given the primitive electronics they were working with. "Fields" and "Walrus"

  • @JoshuaTaylor yea george martin is a genius

  • the first ever metal song

  • Charles Manson dislike this.

  • I got blisters on my fingers !!!

  • This makes me want to brainwash people..

  • Either this is an epic lovemaking song, or the best Beatles tune to get angry with.

Either way, Macca sounds kinda sexy in this one. ;-)

  • Ive heard this was played on an untuned guitar didn't know if it was true or not

  • @Bluecat279 no what happened was the guitar was strummed so hard that it would make the low e go sharp but it was tuned lol

  • RINGO - I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS

  • mmm no i dont thing so this song was the beginnig of the heavy metal than the others people sayed could be soft rock like nirvana green day etc etc.

  • who the hell dislikes this

  • @jsbm151 someone that got blisters on his fingers XD

  • the beginning completely brain washes me

  • Urghh, I love The Beatles and this song... but I can't STAND metal!

And for the non-english people that don't know what a helter skelter is here's the description..A helter skelter is a funfair or amusement park ride with a slide built in a spiral around a high tower. Users climb up inside the tower and slide down the outside, usually on a mat. Typically the ride will be of wooden construction.

^They also tend to be old and rickety, and the people that own them are always dodgy blokes.

  • @Cheeseychum alright now that we know what a helter skelter is can you tell us what a dodgy bloke is?

  • @JuanAngeles326 "bloke" is english slang for a man. "dodgy" means alot of things, usually that they will rip you off , they aren't legitimate or you shouldn't trust them.

  • @ejl1000 Oh. Cool!

  • thats good plastic slides give me electric shocks

  • @Cheeseychum Ah, that's what those are! My sister scraped her knee on one when we were little and she freaked out!

  • @Cheeseychum actually, this is what I found on the dictionary, I think it applies better to the song: hel·ter-skel·ter [hèltər skéltər] adverb, adjective 1. with haste: with hurry and confusion The prairie dogs rushed helter-skelter down their burrows. 2. in disorder: without order or organization The winds had knocked the huge trees helter-skelter all over the park. noun confused state: a hurried or disorganized situation or state the helter-skelter in the junk shop
  • @Cheeseychum Shit sounds scary :P

  • The Beatles are so beast they started an entire subgenre by accident. :D

  • @PianoMan347 amen to that my friend

  • The birth of metal. The genres this album employs are mind-boggling.

  • The birth of metal.

  • I think The White Album is a rite of passage for any collage student. Along with some good grass that locks your rear on the couch. I know Helter Skelter was there for me many a night.

  • I thin The White Album is a rite of passage for any collage student. Along with some good grass that locks your rear on the couch.

  • NO RINGO!! NOT YOUR FINGERS!! D:

  • sounds like Hitler screaming-at the end

  • @tapeduk Heil Ringo!
