All those battles were US or US and ARVN successes. Vietnam after 1968 was no longer a guerrilla war as NVA made up VC battalions as there were too few South Vietnamese to make up units. The NVA fought regular battles which were to our benefit. NVA lost as many as several hundred thousand troops killed every year. To this day the Vietnamese Communist party fails to tell their own people what their losses were. Vietnam war was a major slaughter for the Vietnamese people.

There was no more guerrilla activity by VC after 1968 Tet offensive. We killed all the VC cadres in that battle. After that it was NVA only. Gurrilla tactics don't win wars they only harrass. US fighting spirit was never broken by anyone. That is a mighty big claim for a little 4rd world country. US public was tired of the war and wanted out, in America the civilians tell the army what to do.If you broke oiur spirit and you yourself had fighting spirit, you should have at least won one battle.
