Women in the past were thought to not enjoy sex and many were even discouraged by their local communities, & family members. The very few that did not abide were singled out as "sluts" & "whores." Interesting video. I have a problem with feminazis, those people give feminists a bad name. A feminist is someone who has the best interests of women at heart, and wants progress for women. My aunt for example is a self-sufficient woman, who makes more money than both my parents combined, because she earned her keep in her profession. She worked her way up the ladder and demonstrated the ability to perform alongside her male colleagues. She was able to survive multiple layoffs within her industry by building a solid reputation and not blaming society.
Issues that affect women today? You do realize that women aren't the only victims of domestic violence and abuse right? There are bad people of both genders, it's just that most males are ashamed to seek help, they just take it. That DOES NOT give the right to women to behave like that. Just because men are physically stronger doesn't mean we are without morals, you would be amazed how often that is used against us because society deems it wrong to hit a woman.

Ask them about the sense 1 definition of feminism and where it comes from. Modern feminism is distinctly different, and "feminism" now refers to advocacy (sense 2).

My aunt for example is a self-sufficient woman, who makes more money than both my parents combined, because she earned her keep in her profession. I agreed with most of this vid except for one concept. Doctrinal aspects of Christianity = not all Christianity is the same or the "right" way. I can see the merits of this analogy but it's not correct or at least relevant to the argument against feminism. (Same with saying there's a bad muslim or a good one: there are).
Case in point: I think it's the weakest part of the video: shouldn't group people all together.

@TheZoso6767 You're the idiot. I suggest you contact the editorial staff of Merriam-Webster's online dictionary (where you got that definition). Ask them about the sense 1 definition of feminism and where it comes from. They'll tell you that it is an old definition that refers to the early Suffragist movent in the late 1800's (and other philosophers of the time). That sense of the word no longer applies. Modern feminism is distinctly different, and "feminism" now refers to advocacy (sense 2).

Some people still use it for a good cause, mostly to help other countries. Other people use it to spread hate. Norway recently withdrew all the funding to so called "gender studies" in scientific research much due to a documentary "hjernevask" (Brainwash) shown on National Tv NRK. It shines the light on how feminism do not hold up to science when faced with biology and psychology.
sweden still keeps up the gender fascism.
The show has English subtitles and should be seen and spread by anybody antifeminist and interested in the present nordic situation.

when a premise is proved false, the argument supporting it must be abandoned. your operational definition of feminism was too general (unqualified/specific i.e. sans terms/conditions i.e. lapsed, reform, staunch, militant, moderate etc.) & based on unsubstantiated evidence & other uninformed opinions. hence, w/the introduction of everyone else's info and some research of your own, for reasons of sanity, consistency & sound logic, you must CONCEDE and retreat from your assertion. @wereaux all the "facts" she presents as backing up her claim are anecdotal, testimonal, in short--SUBJECTIVE. all the facts, like this week's Vancouver Sun article on female infanticide in canada & abroad, i cited in previous comments are OBJECTIVE, just like all the definitions above and below that are "@" the two of you; & none of it sways either of you from making erronous, belligerent, sweaping, & incorrect judgments. i respect opinions that differ from my own if they have value.

1. "If you believe in equality, then you're a feminist." (False)
2. "If you oppose feminism, then you oppose equality" (False)
The first is a logical fallacy called Affirming the consequent.
The second is a logical fallacy called denying the antecedent. Why do you stupid feminazis make these illogical statements?
