The one thing about gran turismo that has always come up short for me is the robotic smoothness of the physics engine, notice how the car never bounces at all.. It's like all the tracks in the game are glassy smooth. Except for Nurburgring and Circuit de la Sarthe, which is where I spend most of my time : )

@aviaoagaz do the Endurance events they seem to give you the most amount of XP. if U have reached Lv 35 on your B-spec driver. U will get fastest car in the game Red Bull prototype X1, Use this car on the endurance race at 200 laps around Indy. Just leave your controller with rubber bands on GAS and to the right, turn off TV come back in 2 hours or whatever. the car will automatically win It will also pit stop itself. The car is so fast it will lap the others like 20 Laps!

@paintballjunkie93 In a word, no... the Redbull x1 has been designed ignoring the regulations for F1, including a fan that basically sucks the car down creating incredible downforce allowing high speed turns, it can have a bhp of 1400 and a top speed of around 400kph.

The Gran Turismo F1 is faster in a strait line for sure, although my experience is that both Ferrari F1s have better grip or are simply easier to drive.

The X2010 literally has twice the grip of the other Formula cars. Pretty sick stuff.

@0000kris0000 the f1 regulations changed in 2009, making rear wings smaller and front wings larger. This move was made in an effort to reduce costs and keep speeds in check in F1. Long story short, the 2010 model should provide less down force and therefore should be slower but i haven't earned 24 million credits to check out both cars yet.

@Koolakobs Thats the thing though I dont care about making my car look nice I would have bought need for speed if I did and the damage on gt5 is pretty nice when you get to level 40 . Thats the thing that I think we all have to take into consideration though is that polyphony nailed it since the first game and now have 5 titles and forza has only made 3 attempts at a racing game and continue to get better. So by forza 5 who knows what its going to be like.

i have both forza 3 and gt5 prologue and i enjoy both very much gt5 is just a notch higher and one of the only reasons it i can use my g27 =) as far as physics go they are somewhat evenly matched but gt5 takes it for graphics. But as i said both games are really close i play both of them so dont bother calling me a fanboy of either =P i simply like to race as im guessing most people who watch this vid and read this like =)

@SebastianLukef1 F1 2010 is a great game, but you have to actually play gt5 to see how amazing it is. F1 2010 replays are shocking, and the handling model for f1 is aimed at arcade players, gt5 is more of a simulation. And gt5p is just a demo, without any bugs. F1 2010 graphics and visuals are only at 720 or something, this is 1080p, play it on a high def tv and you'll see, and it looks realistic, instead of that yellow cartoon colours on f1

However f1 is an awesome game, and i love it,

I like how people are making reference to F1 2010, when that is just stupid because that game finds a balance between simulator and arcarde where as Gran Turismo flat out trys to be a simulator so in reality you cant really compare the two but i can say that even though its more "arcadey" F1 2010 manages to capture the charisma of F1 and really graphically
