Anyone watching this is prob suffering from this. Therefore the background of the video (yes, cool and suiting) should not worsen the symptoms. Too much movement on the screen. Unnecessary for sufferers.
Hello everyone.. are you ready to post your VS history on Dr. Oz's website all at one time by July 10th ?? We have 10 days in order to tell as much VS sufferers as we can to post their stories at that timing too =)
Please ALL let's give it a try.. don't forget or be lazy :P:D Set your cellphone reminders rt. now ;) "
@Ajscosmos It has many names. I hear more about it called: "hyper" then "hallucinogen" It can also be called PMA or Persistent Migraine Aura. But I have : Hallucinogen persisting perception also as a tag for this video. Thanks anyway for the heads up! Can you send it to more people who have this problem? Help would be appreciated!
@VisualSnow1 Well hallucination persisting perception disorder and PMA are 2 different things, i've had hppd for over 3 years now and coincidentally i developed PMA after fracturing my skull just over a year ago... i'm trying to think what you are referring to because i searched Hyper ppd and couldn't find anything about it... on Another not though most people who have hallucination persisting perception disorder will suffer from VS, DP, DR and just about everything else....
@AjscosmosI am sorry to hear that about you fracturing your skull and the way that it made it all to more complicated... Can you explain what you mean by the difference between PMA and Hallucinogen Persistent Perception . I searched for hyper persistent perception disorder to check it out and got some links. But I change the title because you are right!. Most people on thosewithvisualsnow for example have visual snow but also more hppd symptoms like tinnitus trails or blue field so I agree.
@argentino39 Yeah I taught it was very appropriate for the subject . Do you suffer from VS or HPPD? Can you might help me to try to get this video message across ? Help would be very appreciated..
@VisualSnow1 I don't, but i do suffer from Depersonalization, Anxiety and other things, and the DP makes things look "shimmering" or "hazy" sometimes, so i guess it's similar. Yeah, people need to know about these things, or at least doctors do, because people are often diagnosed with Anxiety or Depression, like myself. Do you have VS or HPPD?
@argentino39 I see!! And very true..its very confused disease people mistake if for schizophrenia or psychosis which has nothing to do with it.. I have visual snow after images and tinnitus and more visual symptoms who belong under HPPD. Hyper Persistent Perception Disorder is really the "disease" and visual snow or tinnitus or depersonalization could be one of the symptoms for example.. Anyway thanks for the interest in this movie! Could you send this movie to some people who have HPPD/VS ?
@VisualSnow1 True. Send it to people who have HPPD/VS? This is the first i've heard of it, so, i don't know anyone! But, i'll post it around a bit, lol.
@VisualSnow1 all you guys should really try the antidepressant celexa. it totally cleared my "spaceyness" and obsessive thoughts. im guessing these distortions are from chemical imbalances. all i can tell you is being able to visually process things again aka "visual memory" has mad an enormous difference on my quality of life. i remember looking around the house and what i would see wouldnt register in my head like my visual memory was all fucked up. celexa fixed all this and i almost cried
@UFO00000000000000000 yeah but what really bothered me was not being able to focus. I felt like my periferal vision took up an excessive amount of my vision. so far the only ways i think you can help yourself is either take meds, exercise, diet, get sun, or stay away from the tv. probably doing all 5 is by far the best advice possible. the meds havent totally cleared it, but totally cleared the obsession that was wayyyy worse.
@TheGncGuru And that medication was Celexa and it cleared all your problems did you only had visual snow or more like tinnitus or blue field and after images etc? Let me know please?
@VisualSnow1 just visual snow but i like to call it "static vision". its just like a "spaceyness" to me where i feel like im in a dream and everything looks dull and flat. I really have no other problems other than depression and anxiety and those are worse than the VS. The meds help with the VS but i feel like decreasing my anxiety has alot to do with not noticing it as much. Id give the meds a try and if they help thats good! you could notice them working instantly like i do or in a few weeks.
