@MrKiyot You press the string down like you take a normal note with your left hand but pluck it with your right hand's index finger laying on the high octave. Use your middle finger or thumb to pluck the string. You will get a high pitched sound called harmonic.

it is saikoo, or saikou depending on how you romanize it.

saigou actually means "last". which wouldn't make any sense in this context.

and for those wondering about the guitar, it's a regular acoustic with a pickup to connect to an amp.
