  • speak louder. and go faster. we can pause and backtrack, so don't be timid about going at a faster pace. if you cover all the ground, you don't need long pauses b/t every sentence. All in all it was a great lesson though. You really know what you are doing.

  • very dull and slooooooowwwwwww OMFG

  • very good lesson

about smacking lips, i didn't feel it, because i concentrate on lessons not on behavior.

only if you can't talk loudly, you can simply increase the volume on any video editing tool.

    thx again.

  • I can't understand a thing you are saying. I have my speakers on full. Why do we have to do all these steps?

  • if you don't, then when you want to compile, you'd have to type "cd C:\java\jdk\bin\javac" or where ever it's saved at. Just right click my computer > Properties, click "Advanced" tab and then click "Environment Variables".

  • omg lol i had speakers turned off so i thought he wasnt speaking. Lol i thought i had lots of gaps (where he was talking). At least it worked =] thx alot m8

  • k im gonna say for the last fucking time first of all if u cant edit a dir. u shouldnt be programming but... in vista the dir is dif if u notice there is a %system root%; than c: and etc. dont put it there ... at the end of the path variable ... put it at the very beginning with the same instructions thank you and stop being a noob

  • lol, my girlfriend heard me listening to this and she said the same thing. Thanks for the tutorial.

  • JAVA.LANG.NOCLASSDEFFOUNDERROR:

  • the reason its not working is because theres 2 dif versions of the jdk if you dont see the javac in the bin folder get the other version theres 1.6_03 and 1.6_06 or some crap cant remember which one it is

  • dude i need help plz i did it exactly the way u did it and it doesnt work when i type in javac can u please help me and by the way best vid toturial ive ever seen for java XD

  • I followed the tutorial even to having JDK in the same location as you but even after that I still have the 'Javac' is not recognised blabla message.

  • Thank you very much! Very well done!

  • Hi

    It doesn't work with me.

I couldn't find a file called javac in the bin map...

  • sorry, i know im blowing it up... a good reference if u know how to program is the java deitel book 7th addition ive already programmed a server/client chat application with it... very easy if you know basic logic

  • just talk a bit louder and its PERFECT

  • sytem properties advanced is an exe in the system 32 directory

  • to do it in vista you go to

    c:/windows/system32

u than click on system properties advanced

than u put in the environment variable there. guaranteed to work we did it in class

  • you can right click on computer and select propertiees. then click advanced system settings. then click environmental variables. i think this is an easier way of doing it.

  • well can u tell me what other path i need as in the system variables because its still not working

  • i think the best java tutorial i´v ever seen

  • Realy nice video, your voice is good and the tutorial is easy to folow. Thanks for this tutorial.

  • i got it to work with vista now thanks anyway

  • I just started my java classes in school, I cant get the JDK to work with vista : I think it might be cause im using a dif version. I can set my invironment variables to the java folder not the javac, really weird. Has any one messed with the JDK on vista?

    Thanks

  • Of course i can direct my self to javac in the cmd, but its really anoying when your writing bigger programs and always compiling.

  • Yep, on a vista system I made the path, but 'javac' wasnt working, just typing in 'java' does though.
