nice boats, do you know the number of the boathouse that hires the ride in motorboats, i was wondering if you knew who manufactured the wooden boats, i think they were made in the 1930's and are powered by stuart and turner engines, sadly these all seem to be closed around our seaside ponds and the boats scrapped.
I love the Yorkshire Belle, and I would love getting hold of the RC model to add to my collection. Well done to all of the members, I wished I lived nearer as well.
Difficult question to answer, some are kits, some are scratch built with prices ranging form just a few ££s if you build them yourself from scratch, up to £750 if you buy the kit. The large tasnker was built from scratch.
Great footage - does anyone have any video/cine of the Spa Railway please?. 7 and a quarter inch gauge I think - the old rails can be seen near the old boating pool.....
Well you should be mitey proud all of you, it looks fantastic. would love to visit some day. i'm in the middle of restoring my 46" vosper PL4, it would blast around quite nicely!! regards skiprat99

Sorry Gary, I don't know who runs them but I think they are leased from the council. They were working this year anyway.
Cheers,

Cheers Geoff, hope you are OK. We had to break the ice just the other day, not to sail but to rescue a swan which had been 'frozen in'

Thnnks Skiprat but it wasn't always like that, we used to sail on a little salt water pond on the seafront.
Cheers,
Ian.
