  • wish i could go there

  • Taekwondo is not an Olympic sport... well at least originally not... but we should also practice its martial arts sometimes.. not just getting prepared for sports sparring and other techniques...

  • I WOULD LOVE TO GO THERE!

  • my dream is to visit kukkiwon

  • My master, Miss Laura goes there all the time! she has some funny stories

  • lol, why are those kids allowed to wear blackbelts o_O?

  • @Paivren because they started at a very young age......it is possible for a kid to have a black belt.....a boy in the classes i go to is only 7 and he is a black belt XDD

  • @RanterJaeUK Mmh, at my martial art you have to have trained at least 10 years and be 17+... :P

  • @N3ppyZ where i go to taekwondo we are fast paced in getting our belts.... also the boy is the son of our instructor haha. ours works differently here in the UK. almost similar to korea with having lots of young students at black belt going for their 2nd dan.

  • @Paivren of course they allow, they paid for it lol

    Sang H. Kim?

  • yea it looks like him

  • im korean and first degree black belt in taekwon do

  • You Are? I've always wanted to know how to say; "I want a bowl of soup!" can you tell me?

  • ITF? I'm WTF 1st Dan, I'm just wondering, because mostly ITF write it as Taekwon do instead of the WTF's Taekwondo.

  • Well ITF is invented by the guy who created taekwondo. Its the same because in English it could be spelled anyway to match its pronunciation.ITF is more original though.ITF is more like karate because the forms are influenced from it and they kick with the ball of the foot(bottom of the foot).WTF broke away from ITF and could be called a different style if you want.WTF kicks with the instep(top of the foot) and the forms have these multiple kick things.WTF seems sloppy to ITF and karate.I'm ITF.

  • true man very true i used to practice WTF but switched to TAGB (the british ITF taekwon do organization) and prefer ITF much more

  • clever camera work, didn't look so nice when i visited 3 weeks ago! to be fair though, didn't visit the museum, twas closed

  • @voicetown bulgogee...wow thank you for reminding me of that! Years back in soutwest Philadelphia there was a store on Baltimore avenue we all affectionately called "mama Cha's" we would go there and eat pulgogee...it was delicious...what a fond memory and of course the Korean family were the best friends the community could hope for.
