@brightbite: Amen! I suspect I gave weirdly creative answers like Ernie's on my first IQ test as a girl--the shrinks told my mom I had a 69 IQ (it's close to twice that high, I learned later) and belonged in an institution. At least Mom never blamed Sesame Street for that incident! *whew*
@MsPandaRosa: Yeah, this is the first time I've ever seen *Bert* as the character who starts the game...but Ernie's wild imagination is priceless. :-)
Does anyone have the sketch where Bert tries to give Ernie a lecture on quiet and loud?

@Pocockable: I dimly recall watching that on PBS as a kid, but I haven't been able to find a viewable copy.

I just love Ernie's creative and imaginative answers to the pictures.

"He's gonna go to put out a burning building and he's gonna throw the water all over another clown."
I think Ernie's been watching a certain scene in the movie "Dumbo" extra carefully.

If kids reacted like Ernie today, they'd be called ADHD. Why can't kids just be creative like this? :)

The Ernie and Bert bit was so funny.

This time it's Bert who asks Ernie to play a game! Needless to say this didn't last.
Ernie gets rather creative in his answers, doesn't he?
