Blizzard has just gone completely lazy with WotLK, making tier sets like t7.5/t7, t8.5/t8 look exactly the same.

Making raids just have a little harder difficulty with more people which they dont even test the bosses to be possible

ie: Yogg-saron Alone in the darkness /XT hard mode pre-nerf.

even pvp sets like Hateful and Deadly.

The new t9 set bonuses suck, and just add things such as 10% damage or 5% crit to some abilities. Set bonuses used to be able to change your style of play.

t7; t7,5 and so on just look nearly exactly the same because you can get them out of the same raid (naxxramas 10 and 25 man)... also blizzard wants the players to keep raiding... and it takes some time to script sum new raid content...

Don't fool yourselves Alone in the darkness is not possible in current gear no one has a legit kill with no watchers. It has been proven to be mathematically impossible by Elitist Jerks and Ensidia. Don't expect to see a real down of Alone in the darkness till the next patch. Grats to Irae AoD for their one light in the darkness kill very good.

I posted that before stars downed him. Their strategy beat the math. If you use 5 tanks it is impossible to have enough dps to kill him. No one else thought to use 2 hunters with DS in place of two of the tanks, and they tried crazy comps that no one else did can you say 5 affliction locks?

Only 1 guild has done it on 10 man legit.

The rest have used exploits to GG win.

freya and thorim r the best guardians to be kept but the raid must have to be extremly good at keeping sanity

Dunno why they take thorim as a guardian? Haven't killed Yogg Saron yet so I can't really say for sure but he seems one of the weaker guardians. Makes phase 3 slightly easier but once the adds have low hp they do almost no damage, just get a rogue to take the fan of knives combat talent and spam it in them to stop them channeling the life steal. I guess maybe they took him for the +20% hp. Would rather have the sanity wells maybe? Nicely done though, bring on alone in the dark!

Its not so much the damage as it is the sanity. They had thorim for a watcher, so no sanity wells from freya. He turned whenever the gaze cooldown finished. He was at 12% sanity during phase 3. 3 hits from that gaze and he's going to get mc'd. Its not a dps race if you can get to phase 3 in a reasonable amount of time, but a mc'd player and screw up everything. However, velocitah is right, you clearly fail.

We're already doing Yogg-Saron, but we're currently having problems with some members not paying attention.

I've only ever played a Hunter and never pay attention to other classes abilities so I never knew Shamans had the wolf sprint like you mentioned; however I thought the quick boost in speed for the brain realm was something that could be useful to gain ever time on the brain.
