There will be no social security by the time they retire, and they know it....he would like to phase out medicare etc...not instantly remove it. RP on RACISM. "simply an ugly form of collectivism. Racists believe that all individuals who share superficial physical characteristics are alike: as collectivists, (they) think only in terms of groups. By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, advocates of so-called "diversity" actually perpetuate racism. The true antidote to racism is liberty. Liberty means having a limited, constitutional government devoted to the protection of individual rights rather than group claims.

You need to watch the youtube vid "Stupid in America" We spend tons on our public education system and it stinks because so much of it goes to horrible administrators, building over toxic areas, etc. Also, it's incredibly difficult to fire abusive teachers, which is why we see time & time again stories of teachers abusing their students.

You're more than happy to take music from the baby boomers and you want to take our Social Security and Medicare too. We've paid in for 30 or 40 years! I understand the Republicans have scared you but if we had put a lock box on it like Gore wanted maybe you'd think differently especially after the market crashes and it's going to happen soon. I know most of you are young but you'll learn. No one is going to insure us old folks if you take our Medicare away. Think about it!

Ron Paul doesn't want to touch social security as far as I know, he wants to allow young people the choice to opt out. There will be no social security by the time they retire, and they know it....he would like to phase out medicare etc...not instantly remove it. He understands people depend on it..you have to actually read more than sound bytes the media gives you.

Medicare is busted. it'll be in the red completely soon...and with a decade or so...so will social security...
if you think you'll get anything out of a system that isn't really pro-rated with INFLATION in mind maybe that should be what you think about!
maybe Ron Paul-icies might just change the value of the dollar for the better and you'll have a strong economy to support you old folks.

That won't happen. The insurance companies are never going to write a policy for people over 50.
The Republicans have successfully brainwashed you into thinking Medicare and Social Security are inviable and can't be fixed. Bush destroyed the public trust and he did it on purpose. Why would you want another Republican...Libertarian which is actually worse? You guys are going to really hurt a lot of vulnerable people.

Ron Paul has stated again and again that he will not take entitlements (Medicare, social security) away from those who depend on them. Basically, you already have a contract with the government, and he is not going to change that. Oh, how will he pay for you "old folks"? He will stop spending billions to build up foreign countries. Think about that. We spend billions in Iraq, and one day they will likely be our enemies again.

Ron Paul isn't going to take away your medicare! He'll balance the budget AND allow MY generation to opt in OR out. I can manage my retirement safer and more profitably than the government can for me.

I really hope you're right but from what I've read he does want to eliminate the entire federal government. He has a very poor record in education, health and labor and you can research this for yourself at vote-smart dot org

You should not concern yourself with his domestic policies so much. They would have to go through congress anyway. What RP can and WILL do for sure is save hundreds of billions through foreign policy change. He is not bought by special interests.

HaveDoneList, we currently have $70 trillion in unfunded SS/Medicare liabilities. Ron Paul is the only one who can SAVE the system for those who've already paid into it. If we don't radically slash spending thru a humble foreign policy (Ron Paul's plan), the government will have to simply print money to meet its SS obligations, causing actual cost of living to skyrocket, but you only get CPI adjustment to SS. = people like my father and you on SS have to get a job at Walmart

Well to all those "should have been an american car" tards, you do realise that your american cars are pieced together in mexico right? With parts bought from china. There are all of 2 steel mills left in the US, otherwise you buy all your metals from overseas. So don't blame these two guys for the sins of the corporations.
To the video makers. BRAVO! I would suggest getting some nice simple aluminum rims (not shiney bling, just simple and nice) to set that thing off!
