I've cried reading two books in my life. Those books are Looking for Alaska and Mockingjay. I guess, to sum up my thoughts on this series: Amazing, in a sad, haunting, yet incredibly real way.
Sigh. Prim just KILLED ME. That book was kind of a blood bath. It felt like Deathly Hallows all over again. Yikes. I love the series...but seriously it KILLS ME! GAH. So well-written.
I felt the same way about the teams. Katniss had other things to think about! That being said, when it was all over, I was glad with who she ended up with. I felt bad for Peeta the entire book. Not even knowing if your own memories are real must be awful. I was also very sad about Finnick's death and Annie being alone. I pretty much cried the entire last 20 pages of the book. (Except for the part where Katniss killed Coin. I cheered at the part.)
Your amazing! I hated the end though! PEETA is amazing, I didn't get the whole kid thing. Finnick is amazing! I called Prims death! I knew it was gonna happen. I hated the end because it was emotionless, Gale disappeared off the face of the earth. And it lost that heart wrenching death I craved! I like the middle and beginning pages but the last 25 pages we're pointless and emotionless and painful. Thanks for the review! You ROCK!
And I know what you mean about the ending - it was kind of like finding out about the deaths. "This happened and this happened and this happened..." So much happened in a matter of sentences.
@thegirlthatvlogs I was so upset that Finnick's death only lasted 1/2 a page. And Prim's, though the depression that it brought on Katniss was still there, only lasted a few lines and was incredibly un-descriptive. BTW I love your pin :D
@thegirlthatvlogs Awesome, the only one I have is the lame button I got from being a runner up n the essay contest. I hold it dear. But bought myself a Mockingjay necklace that cost more then the book itself did.
omg u r so funny, this is just funny but the book was tragic. ur awesome HAHA XD

@AliciaMo12 I went back and forth between hating and feeling bad for Peeta. I know he couldn't help it, but it was just frustrating. xD

@fromrachelxwithlove omg, it was creepy everytime Snow was mentioned. I mean, Finnick's confession about what he made the winners do? Gah.

@thegirlthatvlogs I totally agree, that was so hard to read.
