I'm fairly certain we actually pay more than you for health care (just not to the government) and get less out of it, hence the problem.

The issue is for people who don't have employee-provided insurance, because in many cases it is prohibitively expensive. The insurance companies have a ton of resources to lobby government representatives, who are often corrupt (another reason we don't want the government in control of health care).
@Falconferare (3) It's more complicated than "take money from the war and put it into health care" no matter how much foreigners like to think they know what is best for the US. Sorry for the long response, but your comment was pretty preachy and disrespectful. A majority of Americans probably agree with you, but enacting change is more difficult in a country 50x the size of yours, with that many more conflicting opinions and an election system that drowns out the minority.

I agree with everything except free healthcare and breakfast. There should be reward systems for poor people, the more they try to get out and work, the more we help them, tilthey are in a suitable position to handle themselves. The system can't support everyone with those additions at 10% tax.

good he mentions rich athletes..i mean for example lebron spends 10'000 dollars to some school its a big event...but cmon..10'000 to lebron is like 10 dollar to me.. i give away 300 each year as student..(even thats nothing, i know)..but still, thatll be like lebron (or kobe, or messi,....) giving 300'000...they even could all give away 10 mil they'd still live like kings...but yeah, they need to look good on mtv cribs to impress kids or some stupid people which are impressed by everything...

A car is worth 20 chickens (ridiculous), you need to 20 chickens for the car but the farmer wants 10 pair of suede shoes, the tailor wants 10 pounds of lumber, the lumberjack wants 12 fish, the fisherman wants a car. You can even fathom a world without money. Do research before you make statements. Of course it sounds good but thats ideally speaking.

I agree with everything except free healthcare and breakfast. There should be reward systems for poor people, the more they try to get out and work, the more we help them, tilthey are in a suitable position to handle themselves. The system can't support everyone with those additions at 10% tax.
