  • You fail

  • @Mannyboythegreat oh welll.... some might say that the only failure is the failure to try. so you are always welcome to try to do better. thanx for watching anyway.

  • @SuperiorLemming Plus you have a 500FPS limit on your AG's in Europe as far as I know. A..177 - 22 cal pellet at speed may be more of a irritant to a aggressively determined criminal. Plus the legal ramifications of just wounding/injuring someone on your personal property is something i would try to avoid. Not sure what to suggest but possibly build good rapport with the local "Bobby[s]" or form a well organized neighborhood watch. ;]

    Good luck.

  • @SuperiorLemming Your profile says you live in Finland, I thought Finland is quite a gun friendly nation. Home defence is not very practical with an air gun. If you leave spring powerd gun cocked it will weaken the spring, you shouldnt leave c02 in a c02 gun as it can damage the seals, I imagine the same applies to pre charged. If you know someone might be bothering you for whatever reason then I guess you could use any of these as a last resort. But better to avoid or use other tools.

  • @FyouWanker I have not seen a decrease in performance. The rifle gets maybe 100 rounds per year through it, so it's not heavily used at all

  • bitte auch mal angucken /watch?v=p7a-oGHKFuU

  • @SuperiorLemming The pneumatic type I am referring to are also called PCP (precharge pneumatic) guns. You can use a hand pump or air cylinder to fill the gun's air reservoir.

  • @SuperiorLemming I am not sure if I would use an airgun for home defense. I think I would use some other method, perhaps pepper spray if it's legal in your country. However, if I had to pick a type, more than likely it would be a CO2 or pneumatic type that can fire more than one pellet or BB without having to cock it for every shot fired. Some may be as powerful as a 22 caliber firearm. I don't know if they could penetrate heavy clothing, but if you get one you can always run your own tests

  • If you go to the gamousa.com videos page, it has good videos of Gamo products and shows a hog being taken by a .177 cal pellet rifle.

  • @SuperiorLemming With Gamo raptor pellets (gold plated alloy) in this rifle, you are supposed to be able to increase velocity from 1000 to 1200 fps, so it's pretty powerful, and penetration is good, especially with Gamo PBA pellets. While you can take a rabbit cleanly with a good shot, .177 cal. is a little light for rabbit sized game. Without a good shot, you'll probably maim but not kill. You might need a .22 cal pellet rifle for rabbit. It'll make short work of squirrels! Hope this helps!

  • the only thing i dont realy like of the air rifle is that sound that makes when you shoot. iam considering buying this air rifle or the gamo whisper x. I would like some help o choose if its possible

  • @tomptup I don't know too much about the whisper x, so I really can't comment on it compared to the CFX. What I prefer about the CFX is the dedicated cocking lever. I don't like break barrel cocking levers as much

  • @hot2warm well the thing is that i dont know much about air rifles so i must ask of before shoting that rifle you have to pump it ??

  • @tomptup For the CFX and the Whisper air rifles, yes, you must pump them. They are a single stroke cocking, which means you just pump once. The CFX has a dedicated cocking lever while the Whisper is a break barrel cocking lever, which means you use the barrel itself as the cocking lever. Some air rifles require more than a single stroke to pump them and actually fill an air reservoir to power the pellet or BB. The CFX and Whisper uses a spring-piston that powers the pellet

  • i have a backyard thats about 120 feet long, i got a gatorade bottle cap put it on my fence and went to the other side of my yard and hit it dead on with THIS gun so accurate and i didnt sight it in yet

  • i dont think its a good idea using any pellets rather than lead. they are too light, and after shooting these pellets for a while, it seems to be the equivalent to dry firing the rifle, which any air rifle owner knows that dry firing doesnt do much good at all. just stick with good old lead, it flies true enough.

  • are you concidering selling it?

  • a lead pellet will only get you about 750-800 fps in .177.

  • @filoIII and a pba will damage your gun, when you shoot 1000 fps with lead and then 1200 with pba, shoot 10 times with your pba and you will get 850 with your lead, its like dry firing, it WILL damage your rifle, and you dont need pellets that go trough the sound barrier, they are inacurate, damage your gun, and expensive, just use good ol lead, have a better flight path, deeper penetration and longer range( range isnt determined by the fps, but by the effective range of a rifle) lead is better

  • @LONE14SKIN88EAD I agree. Thanks for the lookout. I can see how you may have thought I was endorsing pba over lead. I'm not.

  • is it hard to load quickly

  • @woodworm4224 It's not hard to load quickly, but you have to be careful that the pellet is fully seated or you will deform the tail end of the pellet when you close the chamber. that will lead to an inaccurate shot

  • gamo is a lot of plastic ,but its oke for the buks , i have one too a 177 cal

the trigger is not very good .

for hunting its oke, for target shooting not ( no nice groups)

,if you want a quality gun buy a Weihrauch ,diana ,for extreme accuate.

    or a c z lux .

    keep on vids

  • thats a nice rifle, and its so powerful, ive shot it a few times and

    it really kicks ass

  • thanks mate, wanted to see what this gun is about as i am planing on buying one, you demenstrated the leaver and where to load the pellet wich is all i needed. who cares if you missed as it was a difficult shot in the first place. plus you didn't call your video "I am the best marksman ever and will never miss a shot ever"

  • @waynecookie glad I could help. I am pretty sure you'll enjoy the rifle when you get one. thanks for watching.

  • this is the dumbest video i have ever seen. you suck as a marksman.

  • You're more than welcome to show me how to do it by making your own dumb video showcasing your marksmanship.

  • alright i will, so how many different guns do you want me to use?

  • It's your video, bro, so it's your choice.

  • @unc6763 funny how u closed ur account after u talk shit...

  • i have camo cfx and it very good for hunting birds !

  • @freegamers69 i one hit rabbits, ground hogs and birds with my gamo whisper vh.

  • Absolutely. I think air rifles get overlooked in that role sometimes. With the newer pellets, like the gold plated and polymer tipped, you can get really great velocity and penetration.

  • Sweet rifle.

Great survival tool for taking small game.
