  • I cried like a man when I first saw this!

  • This is actually the only moment ever of any tv serie/movie i have cried

  • Hooch iiiis crazy

  • 2:37 Correction. Best white friend

  • i always cry when i see this, it kicked friends ass!

  • the series ended ?

  • bill lawrence got a cameo on the last scene of one of his masterpieces.. awesome! =D

  • still manages to bring a tear to my face watching this.. just such an amazing show about life and the funny parts about it to.. i miss this show. and the finale didn't leave an empty hole, it was just amazing!

  • I miss Scrubs :(

  • 'steps in car with hospital clothes still on'

FAK YALL MATHAFAKAAZ IZ TAKIN MA SCRUBSS

  • am i the only one who cried?

  • Best show ever

  • Scrubs is on Netflix and I watch from season 1- 8 over and over and I have the DVD's too. Best ever

  • scrubs defiantly had a good ending to it and will be remembered for a long time. It helped me not only emotionally but spiritually too.

  • Peter Gabriel Makes it better

  • Hooch is crazyyyy XD i miss scrubs :(

  • I hate that blonde girl who is Happy Endings as well she has forever ruined scrubs!

  • I think I speak for everyone when I say;

With this scene feels like scrubs is for us all to end.

This scene is for us a wonderful series to end.

This scene goes by for us the fun of the TV.

These 8 seasons have changed my life somehow.

These six dislikes are people who have no heart and no feelings!

    The 9.season sucks.

Because J.D's place will be replaced by this blonde chick.

Somehow, after this scene feels like scrubs died for me

  • Where's Elliot?

  • And thus ends a very important era of my life.

  • Where did Bill Lawrence make his appearance?

  • @MrJoyDevision hes the janitor who tears down JDs sign

  • Like this if you've watched enough scrubs to know that this video has the pitch set slightly higher and it bugs the SHIT out of you. (pitch is probably altered for copy rights)

  • damn, just shed a tear

  • great

  • that said, yes, this is the end of the show and I will always refer to it as such. i do not know anything of such talk as a "ninth season" of scrubs. saying there is a ninth season of scrubs is like saying that the holocaust DIDN'T happen.

so, shut up you "season nine confirmers"... you are in denail...!!! STOP LYING TO YOURSELVES!!!

  • @Qwazin Holy shit, I think you're retarded.

  • out of all emotional strings tied up from the show in this episode, the one moment that gives me the chills the most is when JD hugs Cox right before the ending of the final montage.

it's nice to see, with this episode, that the writers of the show really knew were they had their characters. through all the ups and downs the series went through with it's later seasons, it was a relief to see that in the end the creators knew exactly what the core of the show was. what note to end on. brilliant.

  • i still get chills when i watch it especially at the book of love scene.

  • I still cry when I see this :'(

  • this is when the show died and it will always be remembered as one of the greatest shows

  • 4:21

    Colin Hay!!!

    Loved that episode...

  • actually, the description is wrong, this is not the series finale, this was only the end of season 8, they made season 9 as well, though in my mind, the show pretty much ended here...

  • Best ending ever...its enough to make jesus shed a tear.

  • I like to think that at the end when J.D drives past the ambulance he wants to go back and help who ever is in that ambulance.

  • This for me was one of the best endings for a tv show that i have eer seen.

  • at 1:04 that would be John Doris aka the REAL J.D.

  • OMG! This is the most beautiful thing i've ever watched! I nearly cried at the end! I can't believe it all ended just like that... They must really miss eachother :(

  • JD and Turk were probably screaming like Carla and Elliot would when their kids told them they were engaged lol

  • Perry !

  • DOCTOR MCHEAD!!

  • HOOCH IS CRAZY.............

  • Why does he leave?

  • Am I the only one who teared up when Cox was saying nice things about JD and when he was seeing what he wants to be the future?

  • He is going to the rest of his life. The show really was about JD and his growth as a doctor and a person, and how he effected the lives of the people around him and vice versa. This whole sequence is him looking back and accepting that time, and realising it is time for him to move forward.

  • wheres he going

  • Hooch is crazy....

  • does somebody know how this song is called??

  • @GreenBowser book of love.

  • I made the Merry/Xmas & Perry/! sweaters for me and my buddy a few years back for christmas. We still break them out every year

  • Wait... Jack looks like he's 9, but Izzy and Sam are at least 18 or 19... but they were born at roughly the same time? How?

  • What he saw in his future is what i want in mine :D awh ma me feel all warm and fuzzy ;)

  • GEN MAPHEWS!!! XD

  • this was the real scrubs, season 9 ruined it for me, but i must say that by the season 9 finale i did find myself attracted to the characters, finally liking them a little more than i should, i wish it couldve came back and gave it a better ending, well, one for the new cast, but they shouldve just left it at this, or at least come back and do a special or something to cap it all off, anything really, just something to give us all COMPLETE closure

  • why did he have to leave?

  • That made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

  • I just know that How i met your mother will have an ending just as good like this. I only hope that it wont be soon :) so many memories with scrubs every time i watch this i almost cries.

  • And then they started season 9 and ruined it.

Lucky it got cancelled, cos this is the real, true and amazing ending :)

  • HOW DO YOU BREAK YOUR PENIS ?!?!?!?

  • whe perry and jd hugged... i knew it was really the end..

  • i loved hooch... to bad he killed the dude that followed him..

  • That janitor at the end pulling down the cloth is the co-director of scrubs, aha good shit dudes.

  • hahah 4:20 the guy from madtv with the asian

  • This should have been the real ending...

  • @myrandomstory Agreed! it is the real ending for me tho

  • the janitor in the end is Bill Lawrence the producer of the show

  • best ending of any tv series...ever

  • @thestokes91 Couldn't agree more, I think it's one of the best series finales ever, I put it up there with the ending of MASH. Cheers wasn't to bad either, but yeah this one was pretty good, especially since most series finales tend to be such let downs.

  • i love this show and miss it dearly

  • @thestokes91 Until How I Met Your Mother ends. Unless they really fuck it up

  • Is it me or do people actually take JD's Advice whenever he gives it at the end of the episodes

  • haha when JD reaches the end and looks out the door someone's stroking Beard Faceeys beard.

  • There was no season 9 for me, this was the end, 9 ruined it.

  • @kichukdave I know what you mean, though after watching season 9 on DVD it kinda grew on me actually, it doesn't beat 1-8 but I still enjoyed it. Now I personally think that if they kept the setting at sacred heart and used the new characters from season 8 plus the new ones they introduced in season 9 they would have been fine, what killed it was the new setting/format, I honestly believe what made it suck was the med school aspect more than anything else....

  • i am going to miss this show, even though it gave my the comedy dosis i need, it really made me think of real life and it gave my wise lessons. It was a show i could laugh on, and still it helped me get going in bad times. I am sad it has to come to an end like any serie, but this one i will really miss. this is the one and only show i really hope my wish to come true, to just let the cast of this show read my comment, so i can thank them for all the (indirect) help, and to help me keep going...

  • Thank you so much.. Really love scrubs :)

  • So LOVE this song! The most romantic song EVER! Thank you, Peter Gabriel!

  • There is no season 9. This is the perfect end to the series.

  • Great ending to an awesome show!

I do have 1 problem with his future...

Where are Izzy and Sam??? They only show Carla's new baby and JD's son with Elliot, but no Izzy and Sam :/

  • @camSVB06 I'm assuming that Izzy and Sam were the ones who were getting married 7:04. They're also there just before that scene as children too.

But you're right about the ending, so awesome.

  • the creator of scrubs is the guy who takes down the goodbye banner and puts it in the bin

  • there is no doc there saying adios!

  • at what 00:00 is the doctor that says adios?

  • the guy ripping down the sign at the end...its the writer and director

  • at 1:00 the doctor says adios, thats the person JD's character is based on

  • Thumbs up if you recognized everybody at the line up except the guy who says "I hate you so much JD"

  • @Mrjellybellyman1 Seriously? It was Lonnie...

  • @MagicTalkingLeopard Was it? it doesnt look like him

  • @Mrjellybellyman1 Yup, he looks the same pretty much IMO, then you have the whole I hate you thing going on :P

  • where did JD go to at the end did he go to another hospital ?

  • @ownjer JD got a job at the hospital where kim worked, after a conversation with Dr. Mantoots. :P

  • @MagicTalkingLeopard so do JD and elliot get together ?

  • @ownjer I didnt watch series nine, but last time i checked, yes, yes they did.

  • let me just say that right after i watched this. it was around 1 am. i went to bed having exactly the same thaughts. looking at my future

  • Perfect ending for a perfect series

  • Song at the end: Peter Gabriel's recording of "The Book of Love"

  • this is the best ending of any show, ever

  • This show should go down in the history books

  • my future is gonna be what i want it to be, i love you zac braff, such an amazing actor <3

  • plz tell me the song that plays when he sees his future life :)?

  • @ackerish the book of love by peter gabriel

  • the doctor who says adios to JD is the actual person JD's character is based on

  • @Logan8able that's awesome!

  • @Logan8able

    i dont see him

  • @Logan8able how do you know this? :o

  • @Logan8able No he's the producer/creator of the show

  • @Logan8able how do you know this???

  • @Logan8able he also wrote and directed the show.

  • @Logan8able wait that was the guy at the end but im pretty sure your wrong

  • @Logan8able it's bill lawrence, he's the creater of the show... the character JD is based on is jonathan doris, who is just the medical advisor of the show ;-)

  • @Logan8able how do you know?

  • @underworldguy1999 im not the guy wo posted it but i knew this cos i watched the extras to all the dvd's and in the first seasons extras it shows you who hes based on and you can recognise him. hes a mate of bill's from collage. sorry for bad spelling im shit :L

  • I miss this show so much....this was such an amazing show

  • i was happy when they came back for a season 9 (even though it wasnt so good) but this is the only thing that gets me in tears every time i see it. Hands down the most beautiful and perfect ending to the greatest show ever. Scrubs was not just funny but it had a perfect balance of comedy and drama too. Far and away the best show ever to hit television

  • That was the most beautiful ending I have ever seen.

  • It takes a lot to make me tear up, but this did.

  • These are the absolute best few scenes ever written. Not even the endings of Lord of the Rings or Farscape compare. It simply is perfect.

  • who else cried......

  • @tinyfeet101 I could watch this 100 times and still cry haha

  • Not the best ending for me, but I guess its an ending. The goodnight at the end was a nice touch tho

  • I always felt that hooch shouldn't be at the end, the woman from season one, the first person JD actually talked to who died, should have been,

  • @saviordd1 she is in the hall way, she's the one who tells him to go have a picnic.

  • @MSCflims I meant that she should have had a more important role

  • Totally didn't cry. :3

  • Makes you think..

  • Never cried/felt this sentimental this much since f.r.i.e.n.d.s and you know you won't be surprised if this was a guy, which I am. EAGLE

  • So his real name's Tommy? That's my name! (insert: awesome-face)

  • Best show ever created. I'm glad they stopped it and didn't mil it til it got old and boring. Beautiful ending I teared up the first time honestly and still do when I watch. You always felt like you knew these guys in real life and felt what they felt. Such a great show and perfect ending-3

  • this was dumb.................. jokes i love this fucking show it was awsome i have all but season 7 and 9 on dvd :)

  • The song is called book of love

  • What makes this show great is the fact that while so much of it is light-hearted and hilarious, it is so easy to connect to on an emotional level like no other show is. So much of the lessons, while they may seem cliche in presentation are things that everyone can relate to. Scrubs is easily my favorite TV show of all time and this episode is definitely one of the best in television history.

  • at 4:14 I just realized it was the woman from 'My Musical'

  • What is that song's name? It was so emotional :')

  • i cry every time

  • Who disliked this?? I just cried so much :((( I love scrubs so so much!!!!!

  • It was a great way to end the episode, J.D saying Goodnight to the creator of the show.

  • This show is the reason I want to be a doctor.

  • Fun fact. This clip has as many favourites as it does likes.

  • Best show I have ever seen. Period.

  • one of the best shows i have ever seen period

  • "I mean, Dr Dorian was fine but he was no better than any other Doctor."

Ohhh, bitch! Dr Cox is going to put you down!

  • I love the fact that after watching scrubs start to finish from day one and knowing the characters so much you can just tell what they'd be saying in the scene at the end.

  • 9 series, 1 lesson, never, ever be a lawyer in hospital.

  • Hootch IS crazy..

  • "I didn't kill her"

  • Truly the greatest television show ever made in all of history, it got me through so many bad times, so many rough patches and so many break ups, i swear when im older im gonna make my kids watch it.

  • JD and Elliot remind me of mine and my boyfriend. :) <3

  • @angelgirls2323 Not completely sure if that's a good thing.

  • who is crazy?

  • A fitting ending to one of the best shows ever.

  • I want JD vision

  • Wasn't this the end of the series and then they had that one random extra season that aired on ABC?

  • @TheBNVfilms Yeah, they had the greatest send off ever, and they ruined it with returning to ABC.

  • @Im2xteme To be fair, it was supposed to be a spin-off. They kept saying though it'd be better if it was Season 9.

    I disagree.

  • shame they turned the whole cox speach into a joke aside from that, heart ripping stuff.

  • how is it that a TV show can make you feel so emotional and sad!? I love this ending it's so brilliant and beautifully done, i don't well up, i full on weep.... :'( scrubs <3

  • a doctor and a doctor, the chief of surgery and a nurse, the chief of medicine and a hospital board member. Those are some rich ass couples.

  • @TheEcapsym Yeah because nurses earn enormous salories.

  • So wut happend?

  • goosebumps

  • Dr. Jan itor

  • What really made the show for me was it seemed like on screen chemistry was real. Like their relationship as actors was pretty much the same as their characters.
