Shot out of a Robinson R44 with gyro stablized cam, then time lapsed. We (I shot it) burned about 10-12 gallons of aviation gas. Small trade off for getting a message out like this globally.
Wonderful display piece for time running out! Pass it along.... Let those who are sitting in decision in Bali know what you think about our changing climate!
This is fantastic!! Congrats to all who organized and participated in this project! I know from experience that it's a lot of work. It looks amazing!!
People felt the effects of global warming firsthand from sun and red tide to get the message out. It will soon be too late to mitigate the damage. If we destroy the earth, where will we live?
Each individual contribution matters. Individuals made this video, and a few individuals threw the election to Bush. Limit your contribution to the problem, tell others, and let your representatives know you won't tolerate our government doing any less.
I was there!!!! Thats me in the red shirt( I was a grain of sand) The finished product turned out great----glad to be a part of it. Hopefully our legislators get the message.
For those that read these and are critiquing the fuel used for this event, I urge you to look around at the lack of attention to this global warming issue.
Thus far, tons of groups are actively pursuing ways to gain attention for this crisis we're in.
Conventional measures haven't worked - extremes are needed.
If others can think of an effective way to gain the attention this deserves - that's eco-friendly - please step up and make it happen.
Great message - time is running out. Florida, most of all, needs to ACT NOW.
No coal, no new nukes, no kidding. Efficiencies, conservation, solar, wind, wave and ocean current energy are the way out of the mess that we've created.
How much greenhouse gas did it create having that helicopter buzzing around? I wonder how many of those people rode their bikes to the beach or were in SOV?
I rode my bike, have installed a rain cistern system, and solar hot water heater. I re-use cloth shopping bags and hang my clothes on the line to dry. The helicopter... well sometimes you have to use a little fuel to get the message out there. If it inspires one persone to change it is worth it. How about you?
How poignant-- hundreds of people demonstrating their concern in the Sunshine State, with all its coasts threatened by rising seas, the peninsula facing more intense storms, the drought continuing. Time is running out for Congress to pass a good strong energy bill, the Safe Climate Act.
Global warming continues as each second ticks away. It will not just go away. It is a global problem that demands a global solution which means that each and every one of us has to put his or her shoulder to the wheel in the effort to stop it. We must all cooperate or all perish. Simply stated, those are the options.
Congressman Vern Buchanan needs to get the message that time is running out to stop global warming - call him now at 202-225-5015 and demand that he take action and cosponsor the Safe Climate Act!
Do something like this again, I'd like to be there. :)

Global Warming is fiction from nuclear power, which you are spreading for free - I hope! Or are you being paid?

Don't do the PR for nuclear power - that is what global warming is!
