Are the Palestinians really just a race of bloodthirsty Arabs hell-bent on killing Jews, or do they really have justifiable reasons for lashing out in the only real viable way (ie: suicide bombers, low-grade rockets)? From the American perspective at large, Israel is the victim and Palestinians the victimizers, but the more I learn about the history of Israeli occupation, subjugation, and past military incursions -- the more questions I have about just how "innocent" the Israelis are?

It's a difficult issue because I feel the Israelis should have the right to defend themselves with any and all means at their disposal -- at the same time, one really must take a look at the actions of Israel, and whether or not some of their current predicament was brought upon them as a result of their past actions and continued lack of concern for those residing in the occupied territories. I feel both sides of the story are NOT being accurately told here in the United States.
