I'm not going to get in a shouting match with anyone here. Name calling isn't going to get you anywhere in life. I'm making a perfect valid point to Liberty.com: you guys will do better to give more information in your videos.
If you @4limitedgov really are profreedom then before you start name calling like a 5 year old, remember, "The heart of a fool is in his mouth, but the mouth of the wise man is in his heart" -BF, don't be a fool, speak with maturity or no one will listen.
What I'm saying is this video is uninformitive. No, I'm not going to go read what the FCC is saying w. for w. because, like most americans, I don't have time to dig online for the excact rules Liberty is refering to. It would be great if the vid. included some quotes tho
Saying FCC shouldn't regulat the internet is hard argument to make, NOT IT IS WRONG, just saying its hard. The vid. needs to give facts to help us make such arguments
& 2 years later you're an astro turf movement led by Koch Industries & peopled by birthers , red necks , the uneducated, & those upset about the Civil War's outcome ... IDIOCRACY ...
Thank you so much for your kind words. Would you like to share an actual substantive critique of the Tea Party or are you just going to read from your MoveOn queue cards?
FCC has stalled perverted language, and ill-moral images on television and radio for decades. How is expanding that to the Internet a bad thing? If they want to restrict Porn or cult-like websites, isn't that good?
Explain what these restrictions are. Are they affected Facebook? Are they banning "right-wing" statements? Give examples. If so then you have a point, but you need to clarify that. Otherwise you sound like you are telling half-truths like main-stream media.
How about you read the language the FCC is using? Is that too hard?
For one thing, the FCC would be telling companies what they can do with their private property, the networks. For another, the Internet has been the success that it is precisely because there was NOT government regulation and red tape. Companies invested many Billions of dollars in infrastructure that now the FCC wants to come in & take control over. It's fine like it is. FCC GTFO of our lives and networks.
Another thing is that the courts have already ruled on this stating the FCC does not have the authority to regulate the internet. Congress has enacted no law allowing them to do so - isn't that where laws are supposed to come from? Not the FCC.
So now the FCC if doing everything it can to go around the courts and the law to do whatever it f'n wants. It is an unlawful solution to a non-problem.
