  • I want to love the bike. But they sound like they are broken and i'm unsure how I feel about single sided swing arms.

  • Anyone know what kind of Dainese jacket tht is? I mean which model?

  • That wobble he talking about on the corners is not what you expect from a naked bike. Never had that problem on a zed 1000. He tried to make it seem like its all good though. I notice this guy will not talk bad about ducati bikes or any euro made machine. If that was a jap bike he'd say something bad. Forget MCN lol.

  • @DAbomb7703 Just be careful, alright?

  • What's The Highest Cc's You Can Get On This Model

  • the only thing i really hate about this bike is that i cant afford it

  • @KPKaccountt Ah, you can afford it. Just get a backpack to carry your tent in.

  • @KPKaccountt word

  • thumbs up if you have watched the video.

  • annoying highway at background

  • Love this bike thanks Mike for the update as i am going to buy one and this has convinced me into it..... what a wheelie monster to own :-))

  • this bike is like a superbike that could get into a biker gang. badass

  • You are driving ona a wrong side of the roooooaaaaddd!!!!!!!

    Whatch it, be careful!!

  • @vegass04 this is in England. Everyone drives at the left side of the road there.... Who doesn't know that -.- never watched topgear?

  • @gijsoerlemans1992

Oh man, you gott a be kidding me. First this was a JOKE!!!, second-what does this have to do with Top Gear which is by the way my favourite show, and third- 80% of the world drives on the right side of the street and you English have to be something special..

  • @vegass04 well, I'm from The Netherlands actually, where wedirve on the right side of the road afcourse. I thought you where serious! Scared the hell out of me

  • I WANT IT

    o.O

  • shia lebouf or gal gadot..who's better?

    I am hahaha

  • you just broke the law for doing a wheelie

  • "Comfortable"...? Really?

    It is nice though!

  • @bloodpig101 yeah i was surprised to hear that it looks like the bars are pretty low to me

  • @494Ibrahim perhaps past 80mph!!!

  • THE BEST

  • This is why I wish Suzuki would come out with a naked sport-bike version of the old SV1000s...just more updated on cosmetics. This Ducati is a fantastic bike. Pure beauty!

  • Holy fuck americans are dumb as fuck!!!! They dont know that 1.5billion people thinks americans drive on the wrong side of the road!!!!!

  • @IFyOuClicKThisuRgAy1 *Think GO AMERICA but anyway you ride is fine be that on the left or the right, as long as your doing it fast!

  • Holy crap whatta moron driving on the wrong side of the road like that! Gives motorcyclists a bad name.

  • @bbbici lol

  • @bbbici haha good one buddy.

  • @bbbici hes in ireland retard.

  • @Cantsaycantsay Yeah, he gives motorcyclists a bad name in ireland, but also possibly elsewhere because of the global reach of the interwebs.

  • @Cantsaycantsay Yeah, he gives motorcyclists a bad name in ireland, but also possibly elsewhere because of the global reach of the interwebs.

  • this is my dream bike

  • These things look like Decepticons

  • @JpKBear Hahah good one!

  • fuck the wind !

  • WTF youtube? Mormon advertising? You fucks make me sick to my stomach.

  • only a 1k miles on 1 set of tires?? how much do top end tires usually go for?

  • With the Streetfighter S you get ohlins suspension, light wheels an exhaust, and above all else u get DTC (ducati traction control)

  • @ ryandood

Light weight wheels and ohlins suspension

  • What kind of elevator boots is Michael Neeves wearing in this video?

  • this is the only mcn guy who is worthy of being a presenter, the rest of them are fucking irritating.

  • What's the difference between the Streetfighter and the Streetfighter S? Is it mainly horsepower or does the Streetfighter S use different materials or what?

  • its the beast that props you up into the wind and if your riding a test bike like I did up the winding canyon roads above San Francisco following a madman test rider who stays with you . As we road down hill through tons of traffic this beast took its toll on my shoulder sockets down hill madness. Your nervous because you pay for it if you go down on it. Nice bike a real beast. Dont like the wind blast on chest as you roar up to speed

  • Even though the option is another $4k (USD) the lightweight magnesium rims (In gold of course XD) are sooooooo sick.

  • you talks too much...show the bike..

  • best mcn bike reviewer! go Michael!!! :))

  • good test. It looks a confortable fun bike, though I don't think so good wind protection... I'd like the bike so much.

    Anybody knows the music comment?

  • Very very beautiful bike but at 11000pounds you`ll need it to run away from the bank after you robbed it.

  • dude he is riding on the wrong side of the road! no dumbass he is in eurupe

  • Ducati BEST motor ever!:)

  • MCN we would like an explanation on HOW did you mount the RACETEK K3 into the Steetfighter since most of the time due to the small clearance with the swingarm the tyre rub into it. We have officially complained to DUCATI in Italy. So....why don't you make a test? Maybe DUCATI will listen to expert like you and fix the problem. thanks

  • 250 mph or 150 mph

  • Can you use a magnetic tank bag then??

  • whats the cost of it ??

  • Well this looks really nice. I didn't really know much about this bike until watching this video and I must say, I am glad I watched it. This looks like a very fun bike, makes me jelouse of those who've got one.

  • Wheres the crash report video..We all know you binned it.

  • I'm in love with this bike

  • paaia

  • why cant the host Of MCN be indoors when he talks about the bikes the wind is always irritating

  • @11bikerboy11 herp durp, who rides a streetfighter indoors? fuck society these days. complain about everything. it's not like you can't hear what he's saying. fuck u and your 22 thumbed up people.

  • @Jonoku “Anger dwells only in the bosom of fools.” | Albert Einstein

  • @jenningsbg

    You make no sense.

Do you think Ducati streetfighter tests should be done indoors simply because of a little background noise?

Boohoo, "the wind is irritating". Deal with it. Have you ever ridden a motorcycle in general? The sound of the wind never stops and personally, it's music to my ears.

Youre just another douchebag who fouls Einstein's quotes just so you can say "You mad?" in a slightly smarter way. That quote isn't directed toward all angry people. Learn to quote dummy.

  • @TheAsiaPomPom actually I agree with you on that ... I was just saying you can make your point without being mean to people .

Anyways, be safe (especially if you're riding this monster) .

  • @TheAsiaPomPom You tool he never said ride it inside... simple talk about the bike inside. Learn to read dummy.

  • @jenningsbg Your quote is out of context and makes as much correlation as a "u mad?" Anger is a normal human emotion. Accept it or cry about it to your shrink.

  • @Jonoku Talking about correlation - who said it is NOT a normal human emotion ??? Let me retype it for you :

“Anger dwells only in the bosom of fools.” | Albert Einstein ///// It just says it is found usually in a fools mind .... and fools/tools are a great part of our society which inevitably makes them and their state of mind NORMAL ("Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." - Same guy) .

  • @Jonoku Please try and understand that I am not saying this to try and offend the guy !!!! Not at all . It is just that there in smthng in us that always tries to push into being/becoming better ... and seeing and REALIZING, most importantly, that (Anger dwells only in the bosom of fools.) a person usually takes a conscious decision to try and be better ! Which can only lead to a positive outcome to all (is my humble opinion). All the best Jonoku .

  • @11bikerboy11

so true. they just need a normal noise isolating microphone.

  • @11bikerboy11 Totally unprofessional!

  • I personally would like to know Micheal Neeves' Honest Opinion on the Dunlop Qualifier tire. I've heard some people like them and some hate them. I personally have no confidence in them b/c they take too long to stick and won't do so @ all in less than 80 degree F weather. furthermore these and the Qualifier 2 were released for press testing on 90+ F days where any tire would stick but spring time opens @ 65 F where other tires do stick, Dunlop Sucks the Streetfighter is Great though!!!

  • @DingoM They are garbage!

  • This is really cool, he even runs out of fuel to find out how far the bike goes on reserve. Nice review.

  • good wind protection? what protection???

  • When You riding wheelies the tank provides plenty of wind protection :D:D:D.....

  • that is if you have a tank bag

  • jusr aerodynamics gives it

  • The Brutale is Mv my friend ,as to which naked is best , the new Aprilia Tuono RSV4 will take some beating.

  • how much does a bike like this in the u.s. go for?

  • 50k

  • between 26k and 24k

  • MSRP is roughly $14k for the standard version and $18k for the S model.

  • It would be a better track bike but no where near as good as a road bike as the Moto Morini Corsaro Veloce, which is the best V-Twin road bike in the world. The streetfighter has a bit more power up top but the torque curve is to high in the rev range for a road bike plus it's so ugly.If one wants a sports bike buy a sports bike.Like the 1198 or a Fireblade. There is now two catagories for Nakeds. The Track naked 1078 Brutale and the Streetfighter. The Road naked Speed Tripple and Moto Morini Veloce

  • Este tio, lleva una chaqueta Dainese, un casco Arai... y luego va sacando rodilla con unos vaqueros. Ja,ja

  • You guys should mind the SOUND when doing videos! Recording on windy weather and no protection on the mic is just LAME.

  • Is it better than the MV Agusta 1078RR? Thats the question i would love answered...

  • I think they compared it to the MV and a i think a benelli if i'm not mistaken, i can't remember who won, try and look it up at their website.

  • better or not would be subjective really. this one's a twin, the mv naked is a 4 cylinder. different characteristics. overall i'd say they'd both be pretty darn fun ta ride

  • I dont get those bikes, there packet with power.

But they have no fairings, i mean how can you drive this above 80 mph,you would fly off the bike cause of the fucking wind.

  • Have you ridden a sportbike lately, I own an 02 ZX6R and the fairings give you... nothing.

  • depends on how fat you are :p.

Have you ridden a nakedbike lately?

Then you must know what iam talking about

  • Standard windshield isn't really suited for windprotection. Get a double-bubble-shield, MRA offers great ones.

  • ahhh.....the idiot musings of someone that obviously have never ridden a naked bike for any appreciable amount of time if ever.

Believe it or not, there is life below the Ton! And it's just fine at 80mph....now 120mph it starts to push a bit.

  • Your right i dont ride those things allot, but dont you agree with me that some bikes are set up to go 120+mph.

But there naked,so thats kinda useless

  • assomiglia alla honda hornet davanti XD

  • I love this bike a lot, but the pricetag is what throws me. On that note, I'd like to know how it compares to other bikes in the same category of 1L nakeds. FZ1-N and Z1000 especially, as they are (obviously) much more affordable for someone with a tight budget like me.

  • u forgor the honda cb1000r

  • Only in Europe?

  • Yes, the cb1000r is the same category, but I am quite disappointed with it's looks, tbh.

  • yeah i'm sure a lot of people are feeling the same too....they wish honda would have done a better job designing the looks of the new CBR 1000 RR.

  • CB1000R Rules!

  • yea id take a speed triple over this

  • the aprillia brutale is its only competition. yamaha and kwaka are to detuned. they should just take the fairings of the r1 and zx and wack some bars on it id buy one then. best bang for your buck naked is the speed triple then the superduke.

  • Dam. He was using some awesome tires when he was testing

  • wow 2500 miles in one month..now thats a test ...

  • ya it is! i got a yamaha 6R (not R6) to start off and told insurance i would ride 1000 miles a year and ended up riding 1800 in first month...its so addicting!

  • i've seen this guy on other test rides and he is way too advanced for me to take his review vicariously, but, nonetheless, good to hear some pros like comfort (which i wouldn't have expected). obviously needs a steering damper (not a big deal, all bikes should) and that heel guard screams out for an aftermarket exhaust solution as it really is bad; even just sitting on the bike in the showroom.

  • The part that is rusting is the R&G 'after market' product.

    Not made by Ducati...

  • we bombed them for a reason

so then theyd stop doing bad things guess we gotta do it again

  • 45MPG!?!?!?!?!? i love motorcycles.

  • one Imperial (UK) gallon is 1.18 US gallon. so it is actually 38 MPG.

  • this is actually low compared to alot of other motorcycles

  • Illegal number plate, i wont report you if you send me either the bike or last weeks paper cus i missed it haha

  • Please don't promote riding in your regular pants.

  • I love everything about this bike.

  • The wind seems to follow mcn everywhere. for god sake invest in some quality sound recording equipment! gave it 4 stars because of that fucking wind!

  • anybody know any backronyms for Ducati? like:

    FIAT

    Fix

    It

    Again

    Tony

  • Dumb

    Ugly

    Cycle

    And

    Tiny

    Incher

    ???

  • Saab:

    Such

    An

    Absolute

    Babe!

    hahah

  • I think some people should really stick to their reliable japanese things...

Me, I'd kill for this machine... Let them insult me or say whatever the fuck they want.

  • i'm interesting how reliable is the that thing, one guy i know has 848 and he visited service 6 times in last 2 months, he has only done 2000km with it

  • Really? wow, well Italians where never know'n for there build quality.

  • Good vid, I didn,t look at the timer once, well done and very nice bike, love my 1098s !!!!!

  • beauty vid!

  • God his job must suuuuuuck!!!

  • lol... yeah, they should let us help this poor guy out...

  • Gave it Two stars. Because i am jealous. OK!

  • Another serious consideration is Aprilia's Tuono. Same sort of bike, awesome chassis and almost as fast (140hp versus 155hp for the Duke), while being much cheaper. The Rotax 990 is also proven to be bombproof.

But... the Duke is awesome and is likely a better bike in both ways, if you have the extra $6,000 USD.

  • i want that bike soo bad. how much dose it cost in american dollars?

  • $15K msrp for base model

    $19K msrp for S model

  • Everyone to there own it look and sounds awsome but for the same money`s id rather have the new R1.....

  • this dude has my dream job :(

  • nice vids, 5 stars

    :D

  • "...cause i have run out ...." classic lol

  • yeah its gotta be a naked 1098, but only 150 mph?

  • only???

  • yeah, my old mans R1 did 190. And the 1098 cant exceed 150? and the R6 can hit 165-170 :S

  • you're an idiot

    this is streefighter not 1098

  • and your an ass coz he says its got the 1098 engine!

  • well yes, but it doesn't have the aerodynamics of a 1098 so it can go as fast as 1098 or any other supersport or superbike

at high speeds aerodynamic is most important

  • Right you are, but theres no need to unjustify something he said in the vid. "Basically a naked 1098" meaning it lacks the fairing of the 1098.

  • The speedo's on the bikes are notoriously inaccurate. I once saw 183 on my speedo at VIR Raceway (before I taped over the speedo), but there was no way...

  • Yeah they are, my bike is 5 mph out. Going past speedcheckers doing 40 according to my clock is actually 35mph

  • As you go up in speed, it seems to become more inaccurate. Also, on many bikes (like my old GSXR750), you can disconnect the speedometer which disables any limiters.

Also, this bike is essentially a 1098 without the fairings. Granted, there are going to be aerodynamics changes as well as gear ratio changes which will definitely impact your top speed. If you change out the sprockets, I have no doubt that you can do well over 150mph.

  • Yeah same , you could disconnect mine. It is a naked 1098 as he says, so its got a lot of grunt for sure!

  • Comment removed

  • ok but realistically whens the last time you did 150mph or was in a situation that requires that much speed

  • Yeah i understand but thats not what im talking about. For its engine size thats a bit... well slow. A "streetfigher" sounds like a proper beast, but it hits 150mph. Ah well

  • It's a naked so the lack of fairing limits the top speed its got nothing to do with the engine most big naked bikes have electronic limiters

  • have you ever ridden 150mph on a sports bike? If yes then just imagine having to hold on to the handlebars 10times as much because there's no protection from the wind.

  • jeesh whats the big deal with my comment? im just saying if its a 1098 engined thing then surely it would go faster! End of

  • the bike could go faster but the rider cant. I have ridden the streetfighter and it has less wind protection than my monster. Also, 150mph may not be as fast as 180mph or 170mph but 150mph is still fucking fast

  • Agreed there.

  • what is the Streetfighter max speed?

  • Everything I have read about this bike sounds amazing. I'm going to have to take one for a spin soon.

Any thoughts on how that tall riding position with the short reach to the bars works for a tall rider (6'3"). Some footage I have seen of guys riding this bike, they seem to be sitting bolt upright like on a dirt bike, which is not much fun once you get much over 100kph for any period of time.

  • *sigh*

I miss my 900ss/cr sp so much!

  • Gotta love the ducati

  • but i can't afford one lol but yes you do have to love thim
