i think it is very rude of someone to critize a type of dance. dance is interpretation! there are many forms and styles. that happens to be hers. I find her very good and confident. and i love seeing them every ren. faire! i love you guys! and great job heather!
wow that was awesome! you guys are really great. I'd love to see you in person one day. I cant believe anyone wouldn't like this video! These girls are amazing and obviously there are some mistakes but I think they were ALL great dancers. Good job girls!
This is obviously Tribal style, but I don't like the movements of the first girl. She isn't fluid or poised, which is typical of the Tribal style. She's not solid in her moves, either; she seems to become unbalanced or unsteady when holding a position more than a few seconds and reverts to wild gesturing with her arms. I would recommend she practiced poise and posture a little more. Otherwise, a good performance.
The second set was better, though they seem to have trouble with synchronocy.
Opinions are opinions. I happen to agree with the criticism. There is a difference between interpretation and being inept.
